The present disclosure relates to a content supply apparatus, a content supply method, a program, a terminal apparatus, and a content supply system that are capable of describing attribute information of each file stored in a packet transmitted by FLUTE session in other than an FDT.A content supply apparatus of the present disclosure includes: a fragmented stream generation unit that generates a fragmented stream on the basis of source data of content; a FLUTE stream generation unit that generates a FLUTE stream including ALC packets in which the generated fragmented stream is divided and stored, and describes attribute information on the fragmented stream in each of the ALC packets in which the fragmented stream is divided and stored; and a multicast distribution unit that distributes the FLUTE stream by FLUTE multicast. The present disclosure can be applied to a system in which content is distributed by FLUTE multicast.

The present technique relates to a reception apparatus, a reception method, a transmission apparatus, and a transmission method capable of supporting various service modes. The reception apparatus obtains first meta data including class information for providing, in multiple modes, a service identified by an IP address and transmitted by a broadcast wave of digital broadcast using an IP transmission method, and controls reproduction of a component by connecting to a stream of the component constituting the service for each of the multiple modes on the basis of the class information included in the first meta data. The present technique can be applied to, for example, a fixed receiver such as a television receiver, a mobile receiver such as a smartphone, and the like .

The present disclosure relates to a content supply device, a content supply method, a program, a terminal device, and a content supply system that make it possible to transmit a file transmission unit of a segment stream without delay. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a content supply device that multicast-delivers a fragment stream of content, the content supply device including: a fragment stream generating unit configured to generate the fragment stream based on source data of the content; and a delivering unit configured to generate a file transmission unit in units of second data units by delimiting the generated fragment stream into first data units that are randomly accessible and subdividing the first data unit into the second data units and FLUTE-multicast-deliver the file transmission unit. The present disclosure can be applied to a system in which content is FLUTE-multicast-delivered.

Disclosed herein is a reception apparatus including: a reception portion configured to receive AV content; a trigger acquisition portion configured to acquire trigger information for operating an application program to be executed in interlocked relation to the AV content; a table acquisition portion configured to acquire a correspondence table associating a command for controlling the operation of the application program with a valid time of the command; and a control portion configured such that when the time acquired from the trigger information as indicative of the progress of the AV content satisfies a predetermined condition of validity in reference to the valid time of the command on the basis of the acquired correspondence table, the control portion controls the operation of the application program in accordance with the command being valid.

The device further includes a matching section configured to obtain the contents distributed from the server by performing matching between the user side answer information and provider side answer information as information indicating an answer set to the question by a provider providing the contents, the provider side answer information being transmitted from the server. The matching section is provided as a Web application, and performs the matching between the user side answer information and the provider side answer information by calling a plurality of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).

Signaling data update information is stored into and transmitted together with an event notification message to a reception apparatus such that a reliable signaling data update process by the reception apparatus can be executed. A transmission apparatus stores signaling data update information into an event notification message and transmits the event notification message to the reception apparatus. When event data stored in the event notification is signaling data update information, the reception apparatus outputs the event data to a signaling data processing unit. The signaling data processing unit executes a signaling data update process based on the signaling data update information. The event notification data is stored in a segment that is data for transmission of an AV content, and the reception apparatus can acquire the signaling data update information from the segment and perform the signaling data update process.

Contents in which a contents ID applicable to the generation of viewing information and viewing information-compatible data such as viewing information destination information or the like are recorded in an electronic watermark (WaterMark) or a sound data file are sent from a transmitting apparatus to a receiving apparatus. The receiving apparatus acquires the contents ID and the viewing information destination information, etc. from the electronic watermark (WM) or the sound data file, generates viewing information using the acquired data, and sends the generated viewing information to a designated address.
