Abstract: A method of allocating resources in a mobile telecommunications system, the resources being for a relay node to operate as a terminal-to-terminal relay for a device-to-device communication between a first terminal and a second terminal. The method includes: allocating first resources for the first terminal to communicate via the relay node for the device-to-device communication; allocating second resources for the second terminal to communicate via the relay node for the device-to-device communication; notifying the first terminal of the allocated first resources; notifying the second terminal of the allocated second resources; and the first and second terminals exchanging messages for the device-to-device communication via the relay node and using the first and second resources, respectively.

Abstract: A method, an equipment and a system for handing over a cell in a communication system supporting carrier aggregation. The method includes: when a terminal in the communication system moves to the edge of the currently serving cell, the terminal selects one or more neighbor cells from one or more neighbor cells as measurement objects according to the carrier aggregation manner of the one or more neighbor cells; the terminal measures the capabilities of the measurement objects, and obtains one or more measurement results; and the terminal sends a source base station which currently serving the terminal one or more measurement results as capability measurement reports of the one or more neighbor cells. Also provided are an equipment for handing over a cell in a communication system supporting carrier aggregation, a terminal including the said equipment and a communication system including the said terminal.

The discontinuous reception method in the wireless communication system includes the following steps: in case of a continuous carrier aggregation, setting a common On Duration timer and/or a common Discontinuous Reception inactivity timer for a primary cell and each secondary cell; and in case of a discontinuous carrier aggregation, setting an independent On Duration timers and/or an independent Discontinuous Reception inactivity timers for the primary cell and each secondary cells. The present invention realizes discontinuous reception of the carrier aggregation, thus saving power consumption of the mobile station.
