The wireless power transmitter includes a power transmission unit configured to transmit a first signal and a second signal; a sensing unit configured to detect a load change during a period in which the second signal is transmitted; and a controller configured to extend a transmission period of the second signal based on the detected load change.
Abstract:
Encoding and decoding methods are provided. An information object is encoded according to a preset encoding scheme. A preset set of bits is selected from the encoded information object and the selected set of bits is output as a sample. A control packet including information on a sample number is generated. The sample is assembled with the control packet. The sample is modulated into a sound signal according to a preset scheme. An input sound signal is demodulated according to the preset scheme. Sample bits and control packet bits containing information of the sample are separated from each other in demodulated received bits. Address information corresponding to each bit of the sample is generated according to the control packet. A soft decision of the sample bits is summed for each piece of the generated address information. A sample decoding of the summed soft decision of the sample bits is performed.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for controlling a wireless power transmitter for transmitting charging power to a wireless power receiver. The control method of the present invention comprises the steps of: adjusting the internal impedance of the wireless power transmitter such that the impedance variation occurring when the wireless power receiver is positioned is set to a second impedance variation different from the first impedance variation; applying detection power for detecting the wireless power receiver; detecting the second impedance variation during the application of the detection power so as to detect the wireless power receiver; and changing the impedance variation occurring when the wireless power receiver is positioned from the second impedance variation to the first impedance variation.

Abstract:
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for securing wireless communication using an acoustic signal are described. In one method involving a first and second device, the second device generates, when connecting to the first device, connection initiation information including key information for secure communication, converts the connection initiation information to an acoustic signal, and transmits the acoustic signal to the first device through an acoustic communication channel. Then the second device monitors a radio wireless channel, which is secured using the key information for secure communication, to determine whether a valid response is received from the first device and, upon receipt of the valid response, discontinues transmission of the acoustic signal and begins communicating with the first device securely on the radio wireless channel.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus are provided for providing additional information service in a mobile communication terminal. A microphone receives a sound signal including an audible frequency band and an inaudible frequency band. Additional information related to the service is detected in the inaudible frequency band included in the sound signal. The detected additional information is extracted from the sound signal. Data for providing the service is acquired based on the extracted additional information. A service screen is displayed based on the acquired data.
