Abstract:
A sealing apparatus of a touch panel provided in a portable terminal including a body and the touch panel, wherein the sealing apparatus is attached and coupled to a coupling area between the body and the touch panel to seal the coupling area while the touch panel is suspended over the body by a resilient member.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method are provided for detecting an input position using display pattern recognition. The apparatus includes an effective pattern area extractor for receiving an image of a display screen captured by a camera and extracting an effective pattern area for pattern recognition from the captured image of the display screen; a pattern recognizer for detecting subpixels included in the effective pattern area and identifying a plurality of holes included in each of the subpixels; and a display coordinate calculator for detecting an input position based on points at which the plurality of holes included in the each of the subpixels are formed.
Abstract:
A shunt capacitor is connected to a wireless charging resonator to prevent harmonics emitted from a power amplifier from radiating to the outside, and at least one circuit having a high impedance relative to a Near Field Wireless Communication (NFC) frequency band is formed at a front side or a rear side of the shunt capacitor for solving the problems of radiating noise components due to wireless charging and of lowering an NFC signal and a power transmission intensity due to a concurrent interference between a wireless charging resonator and an NFC antenna.
Abstract:
A wireless electric power receiver for receiving wireless electric power from a wireless electric transmitter is provided. The wireless electric power receiver includes an electric power receiving unit that receives wireless electric power from the wireless electric power transmitter; a rectifying unit that rectifies wireless electric power in the form of alternating current output from the wireless electric power receiving unit and outputs rectified electric power; and an electric power regulation unit that receives an input of the rectified electric power, outputs first electric power which has a lower value of a first voltage than that of the rectified electric power for a first period, and does not output electric power for a second period, so as to output electric power with a predetermined voltage value.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for generating vibration based on sound characteristics in a mobile terminal are provided. The method includes converting audio data into an audio signal upon generation of a sound play request; determining whether to generate vibration based on a sound volume of the audio signal; setting an actuator to be driven for the audio signal among at least two actuators based on frequency distribution characteristics of the audio signal if it is determined upon determining to generate the vibration; and driving the actuator being set for the audio signal when outputting the audio signal.

Abstract:
A display device including a plurality of display panels and one or more vibration sensors for detecting a vibration by a touch of an input device. The vibration sensors are attached to the plurality of display panels The display device also includes a controller for, when one of the plurality of display panels is touched by the input device, identifying the display panel touched by the input device from the plurality of display panels according to vibration intensities detected by one or more vibration sensors. A display panel on which an input by an electronic pen is performed among multiple display panels can be identified through vibration intensities, so that input position detection using pattern recognition can be achieved even when the plurality of display panels are used.
