    摘要： A moving apparatus for a load lifts the load by the torque of a motor, and balances and holds the same with the aid of a mechanical brake when the apparatus stops. A timing device is incorporated in brake control so that when the apparatus stops in response to a signal indicating that a zero speed is designated, the mechanical brake is operated with a time lag after the receipt of the signal and, as soon as the brake is applied, the power supply to the motor is cut off. This arrangement remarkably reduces the impact of stopping upon the mechanical brake and drive, lessens the wear of the brake, permits reduction in size of the components and extends the service life of the components, thus providing an apparatus which saves power in comparison with conventional equipment.

    摘要： When a user specifies a road that he/she wants to pass through, a guiding route generation device generates a guiding route that passes through the specified road up to a destination. A guiding route (37) generated based on waypoints specified is stored in a storage means (15) of the guiding route generation device. A display means (11) displays the guiding route (37) along with roads in the periphery. The guiding route generation device specifies a certain road as the specified pass-through road from among the roads displayed along with the guiding route (37), and further, finds and determines whether there are crossings and the number of the crossings between the specified pass-through road and the guiding route (37). When there is no crossing, the guiding route generation device generates two routes between the specified pass-through road and the guiding route (37) and extends the specified pass-through road to generate a user-specified road. When there is one crossing, the guiding route generation device generates one route between the specified pass-through road and the guiding route (37) and extends the specified pass-through road to generate a user-specified road. A user-specified road and the guiding route (37) are connected to generate a renewed guiding route.
