    摘要: A flat display device comprises a vacuum envelope constituted by a back base plate consisting of an elastic metal plate and a display panel and accommodating a thermionic cathode structure and a plurality of electrode structures for controlling the electron beams emitted from the thermionic cathode structure. The thermionic cathode structure is divided into a plurality of sections each including a plurality of coiled thermionic cathode heaters connected in parallel and arranged such that each corresponds to each of picture element regions provided on the back side of the display panel. Voltage supply terminals for supplying power to the parallel coiled heaters in each section are led out through the back base plate via insulating members.

    摘要: A print head having high printing reliability, in which temperature unevenness is suppressed even when printing is performed using a print head having an increased length and density of an ejection opening array, can be provided. Specifically, a temperature equalizing member such as a heat pipe and a cooling liquid passage is disposed between a first support substrate and each of second support substrates or is disposed inside the first support substrate. This makes it possible to equalize temperature among the plurality of second support substrates and further equalize temperature among the printing element substrates bonded to these support substrates. In addition, the temperature equalizing member is made close to the printing element substrate, thus making it possible to efficiently equalize temperature.

    摘要: A liquid discharge head comprises: a discharge element substrate including a discharge port for discharging liquid and a discharge energy generating element; an electrical wiring substrate for inputting an electrical signal to the discharge energy generating element; a supporting mechanism for supporting the discharge element substrate and the electrical wiring substrate; an electrical connection portion for electrically connecting the discharge element substrate with the electrical wiring substrate; a sealant coated on the electrical connection portion; and a film-like member coating the electrical connection portion along the shape of the electrical connection portion through the sealant. Thus, the liquid discharge head resultingly includes the electrical connection portion on which the height of the sealant is suppressed and lowered sufficiently so as to prevent a problem that the electrical connection portion is damaged and/or exposed due to its height.

    摘要: In a color cathode ray tube, a panel having a single faceplate is coupled to a plurality of necks through a plurality of funnels, respectively. A plurality of electron gun assemblies are received in necks and a plurality of deflection units are mounted around the funnels, respectively. A screen is formed on an inner surface of faceplate and has a plurality of continuous segment regions each of which is scanned with the electron beams emitted from the corresponding electron gun assembly and deflected by the corresponding deflection unit. A shadow mask is so supported in the panel as to face the faceplate.
