Abstract:
To provide a clutch release mechanism which can restrain vibrations of a ball while allowing the ball to be loosely fitted when it is not in operation to ensure the engaged state of a clutch. A clutch release mechanism is configured in such a manner that a gap is defined between a clutch cam plate or a receiving plate and a ball unit so that the ball unit can slide between the clutch cam plate and the receiving plate. An urging spring is provided for urging the ball unit in the direction of being slid toward the clutch cam plate. A C-ring for restricting the ball unit from coming out from a boss member is attached to the peripheral portion of the boss member.
Abstract:
A reverse inhibitor mechanism for a transmission of an all terrain vehicle, in which a shift drum is jounalled to a side wall opposite the transmission case so as to be rotatably supported thereon, and a reverse inhibitor arm is detachably engaged with the reverse inhibitor groove formed in the outer circumferential surface of the shift drum to regulate a reverse setting. A reverse inhibitor shaft having the reverse inhibitor arm supported at one end thereof is positioned within the transmission case. The other end of the reverse inhibitor shaft is rotatably journaled to one of the opposite side walls of the transmission case from the inside of the transmission case. A distal end of the reverse inhibitor arm which swings by the rotation of the reverse inhibitor shaft is brought into engagement with the reverse inhibitor groove during assembly of the reverse inhibitor mechanism.
Abstract:
A lubricating system for an internal combustion engine includes a recovery pump by which a lubricating oil dropping to and dwelling in a bottom portion of a crankcase after lubricating individual portions of the internal combustion engine is sucked through a pump suction port opened in the bottom portion of the crankcase and is fed to a lubricating oil tank. A supply pump is provided for supplying the lubricating oil from the oil tank to the individual portions of the internal combustion engine. The lubricating tank is integral with the crankcase and is partitioned from a crank chamber by a partition wall projecting from the inside wall of the crankcase. The lubricating system includes an overflow oil passage through which the lubricating oil that flows over the upper edge of a partition wall of the lubricating tank is led to a suction port of the recovery pump.
Abstract:
To provide a transmission device in which assembly of a shift spindle is improved. In the transmission device, a groove is formed on a shift spindle into an annular shape along the peripheral portion of the shift spindle. A positioning pin is mounted so as to be inserted through a through hole of a rear cover from the outside. The distal end of the positioning pin projecting inwardly of the rear cover is locked with the groove. A rib with which a spindle plate can come into abutment is formed on the inner side of the rear cover. The groove is arranged on the extension of the through hole in a state in which the spindle plate comes into abutment with the rib.
Abstract:
To reduce the projection of a swash plate servo mechanism in the radial direction, and to make a hydraulic continuously variable transmission compact, a swash plate plunger pump includes a pump casing provided with an input driven gear. A pump cylinder and a motor cylinder are connected to a transmission output shaft, and a motor pivot member provided with a motor swash plate member is supported to be pivotally movable. A motor servo mechanism includes a ball screw shaft, a ball nut to which an end portion of the motor pivot member is connected, and a swash plate control motor to rotate the screw shaft. A swash plate control motor, located on the side of a hydraulic pump relative to the input driven gear, is mounted to the outside surface of a transmission housing close to the center axis side of a transmission output shaft.
Abstract:
A lead-free piezoelectric element that stably operates in a wide operating temperature range contains a lead-free piezoelectric material. The piezoelectric element includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a piezoelectric material that includes a perovskite-type metal oxide represented by (Ba1-xCax)a(Ti1-yZry)O3 (1.00≦a≦1.01, 0.02≦x≦0.30, 0.020≦y≦0.095, and y≦x) as a main component and manganese incorporated in the perovskite-type metal oxide. The manganese content relative to 100 parts by weight of the perovskite-type metal oxide is 0.02 parts by weight or more and 0.40 parts by weight or less on a metal basis.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating an image display apparatus includes disposing a frame member though a first joining material on a main surface of a first substrate on which an electron emitting element is to be disposed, and heating the first joining material to be softened and cooling the first joining material to be solidified, to join the frame member with the first substrate through the first joining material. The method also includes disposing, on the main surface, a spacer provided with an antistatic film on a surface thereof, disposing a second substrate provided with an anode electrode opposed to the main surface, and joining the second substrate with the frame member through a second joining material at a temperature lower than a heating temperature at the joining of the frame member with the first substrate through the first joining material.
Abstract:
A method that makes uniform the frame height after joining a frame and a substrate constituting the vacuum container of an image-forming apparatus without damaging the substrate surface in the vacuum container. A frame member is joined with a rear plate by applying frit glass to the rear plate, disposing a frame member on the frit glass, disposing a spacing definition member to a portion of the rear plate nearby the frame member where the vacuum container is not formed, pressurizing the frame member, and then softening the frit glass and thereby joining the frame member with the rear plate.
Abstract:
A powertrain unit includes a hydraulic continuously variable transmission including a transmission housing, and a dipstick for checking an oil level in the housing. The width of the powertrain unit is reduced by positioning the dipstick laterally inside the housing. The hydraulic continuously variable transmission includes a fixed-displacement swash plate plunger pump and a variable displacement swash plate plunger motor, which are connected through a closed hydraulic circuit. The outer circumference of a portion of a pump casing of the plunger pump for is reduced in diameter to form a reduced diameter portion. The dipstick is positioned so that a gauge portion thereof extends from an area near the outer circumference of the reduced diameter portion down to the bottom of the transmission housing.
