    Abstract: A communications device transmits data in preconfigured resources of an uplink of a wireless communications network by performing a procedure to determine whether the communications device can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources of the uplink, and if the communications device determines that it can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources, transmitting signals representing the data in the preconfigured resources. The procedure to determine whether the communications device can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources of the uplink includes a transmission parameter confirmation procedure which confirms that a value of one or more transmission parameters to be used for transmitting the signals representing the data can be used for the signals representing the data to be detected by an infrastructure equipment of the wireless communications network.

    Abstract: Location of an electronic device is determined using signals received from a first set of reference radios. The first set of reference radios include at least one secondary reference radio, each secondary reference radio established as a secondary reference radio by registering a corresponding location with a server. The corresponding location of the secondary reference radio is determined as a function of signals received by the secondary reference radio from a second set of reference radios. The second set of reference radios include radios qualified as reference radios in a database of primary se reference radios and secondary reference radios, each primary reference radio being a fixed-location radio device.

    Abstract: The invention is directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for determining timing relationships of pilot and data in mobile network communications. Specifically, an uplink (UL) transmission is received at a base station (BS) from a user equipment (UE) in network communication with the BS via a communication channel. Based on the UL transmission, a channel coherence time is determined indicating a period of time during which the communication channel is considered to be substantially unchanged. In response, a total transmission duration is determined based on the channel coherence time indicating a period of time associated with transmission of a data frame.
