摘要: In a method of and an apparatus for manufacturing a glass fiber mat, bundles of glass fibers shake down onto a conveyor unit arranged horizontally, to form a non-oriented fiber layer. The non-oriented fiber layer is dried by a drier. Bundles of uni-directional fibers are supplied onto the dried non-oriented fiber layer, by a bundle supply device, to laminate the uni-directional fiber layer onto the dried non-oriented fiber layer. At the laminating, the bundles of uni-directional fibers are guided in parallel relation to each other at regular intervals in a widthwise direction of the conveyor unit. The uni-directional and non-oriented fiber layers, which are laminated one upon the other, are supplied to a needler and are needled thereby, to form the glass fiber mat. The glass fiber mat is carried out by a delivery roller unit.

摘要: A high temperature surface combustion burner, comprises a burner head having an air fuel mixed gas supply inlet, a burner plate secured to said burner head, wherein the burner plate is made of a ceramic porous body having more than 30% by volume of pores of 25 to 500 .mu.m in mean pore diameter; and a plurality of throughholes having a 0.05 to 5.0 mm diameter and provided in said burner plate at intervals of 2 to 30 mm and substantially vertically extending with respect to the combustion surface.Another surface combustion burner comprises a burner head having an air fuel mixed gas supply inlet, a burner element secured to said burner head, said burner element consisting of a ceramic porous body having pores sufficiently communicated from its inside to its outside for diffusing an air fuel mixed gas, wherein said ceramic porous body has 75 to 95% by volume in total of communicated pores of 0.5 to 5.0 mm in mean pore diameter; and a plurality of throughholes each having a hydraulic diameter of 0.05-5.0 mm and substantially vertically extending with respect to the combustion surface and provided in said burner element at intervals of 2 to 30 mm.

摘要: A dielectric ceramic composition includes a compound having perovskite type crystal structure shown by a general formula ABO3, where A is at least one selected from Ba, Ca and Sr, and B is at least one selected from Ti and Zr. The dielectric ceramic composition includes, as subcomponents, an oxide of RA (Dy, Gd and Tb); an oxide of RB (Ho and Y); an oxide of RC (Yb and Lu); Mg oxide and an oxide including Si in terms of RA2O3, RB2O3, RC2O3, Mg and Si, respectively. Also, when contents of the oxide of RA, RB and RC with respect to 100 moles of the compound are defined as “α”, “β” and “γ”, respectively, they satisfy relations of 1.2≦(α/β)≦5.0 and 0.5≦(β/γ)≦10.0.

The mirror surface has a first region and a second region. The first region includes a first polarization conversion layer configured to convert a polarization direction of incident light incident on the first region from one linear polarization into a different linear polarization. A region of the optical element from which light transmitted through the first region is emitted includes a second polarization conversion layer configured to convert a polarization direction of the light transmitted through the first region from the different linear polarization into the one linear polarization.

摘要: An optical element includes a dichroic surface formed by a multilayer dielectric film or the like and a polarized beam splitter surface formed by a multilayer dielectric film or the like. The dichroic surface transmits light (G and R) from a green wavelength band to a red wavelength band irrespective of the polarization directions of light, and reflects light (B) in a blue wavelength band. The polarized beam splitter surface reflects an S-polarized light (Gs) in a green wavelength band. Furthermore, the polarized beam splitter surface transmits an S-polarized light (Bs) and a P-polarized light (Bp) in the blue wavelength band, and also transmits the S-polarized light (Rs) and P-polarized light (Rp) in the red wavelength band.

摘要: An illumination apparatus includes a red light valve, a green light valve, a blue light valve, a polarization adjustment element, and a color combiner. The polarization adjustment element adjusts polarization of fourth color component light. The color combiner combines light emitted from the red light valve, the green light valve and the blue light valve. Superimposed component light which is any one of a red component light, a green component light and a blue component light enters the polarization adjustment element together with a fourth color component light. The polarization adjustment element transmits the superimposed component light without adjusting the polarization, and transmits the fourth color component light with adjusting the polarization. The superimposed component light and the fourth color component light emitted from the polarization adjustment element enter a specific light valve corresponding to the superimposed component light, among the red light valve, the green light valve and the blue light valve.

摘要: An illuminating device comprises a first light source in which LED chips are arranged in an array shape and a second light source in which LED chips are arranged in an array shape. The two light sources of each illuminating device are arranged such that the main light-emission optical axes of the light sources are perpendicular to each other. Moreover, a time-division switching mirror is provided at a crossing position between the main light-emission optical axes. The first light source and the second light source alternately emit pulses of light. The pulsed emission is a method of supplying a large amount of electric currents to the LED chips in a short time period, and a light-emitting amount increases compared to a steady-state emission of the LED chips. The time-division switching mirror becomes a transmitting state when the first light source is lighted, and becomes a reflecting state when the second light source is lighted.
