Abstract: Provided is an improved multilayered ceramic capacitor and an electronic device comprising the multilayered ceramic capacitor. The multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises first conductive plates electrically connected to first external terminations and second conductive plates electrically connected to second external terminations. The first conductive plates and second conductive plates form a capacitive couple. A ceramic portion is between the first conductive plates and said second conductive plates wherein the ceramic portion comprises paraelectric ceramic dielectric. The multilayer ceramic capacitor has a rated DC voltage and a rated AC VPP wherein the rated AC VPP is higher than the rated DC voltage.

Abstract: A multi-layer ceramic capacitor includes: a ceramic body that includes a plurality of ceramic layers laminated in one axial direction and includes polycrystal having a Perovskite structure as a main phase, the Perovskite structure containing calcium and zirconium and being expressed by a general expression ABO3, the polycrystal containing silicon, boron, and lithium;first and second internal electrodes alternately disposed between the ceramic layers; a first external electrode provided on an outer surface of the ceramic body and connected to the first internal electrodes; and a second external electrode provided on the outer surface of the ceramic body and connected to the second internal electrodes, the multi-layer ceramic capacitor satisfying 0.2858V+0.4371≤CLi≤0.1306V+3.0391, where V (mm3) represents a volume of the ceramic body, and CLi (atm %) represents a concentration of the lithium when a concentration of a B-site element of the main phase of the polycrystal is 100 atm %.

Abstract: A dielectric thin film with high relative permittivity and high insulation can establish the amount of nitrogen in a metal oxynitride to be low. A dielectric thin film, wherein the dielectric composition is a metal oxynitride solid solution including Ma and Mb: a composition represented by the chemical formula MazMbOxNy (Ma is one element selected from Sr, Ba, Ca, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, and Na, Mb is one element selected from Ta, Nb, Ti and W, O is oxygen, and N is nitrogen); when a is the ionic valence exhibited when Ma occupies an A site in the perovskite structure and b is the ionic valence exhibited when Mb occupies a B site in the perovskite structure, a and b are 6.7≤a+b≤7.3, and x, y and z are 0.8≤z≤1.2, 2.450≤x≤3.493, and 0.005≤y≤0.700.

Abstract: A ceramic dielectric composition contains a base material powder represented by one or more of (Ca1−xSrx)(Zr1−yTiy)O3, Ca(Zr1−yTiy)O3, Sr(Zr1−yTiy)O3, (Ca1−xSrx)ZrO3, and (Ca1−xSrx)TiO3, in which x and y satisfy 0≦x≦1.0 and 0.2≦y≦0.9, respectively. The ceramic dielectric composition may have high room-temperature permittivity and excellent ESD protection characteristics and may secure withstand voltage characteristics while implementing relatively high capacitance.
