摘要： This invention provides a process for producing biodiesel fuel from vegetable or animal oils and fats or wastes thereof and methanol that does not use a catalyst and does not generate glycerin as a by-product. In this process, vegetable or animal oils and fats or wastes thereof are mixed with methanol, and a methanolysis reaction is carried out at a reaction temperature of between 370° C. and 500° C., a reaction pressure of between 20 MPa and 60 MPa, and a reaction period of between 4 minutes and 12 minutes without the use of a catalyst. This invention also provides biodiesel fuel that is mainly composed of fatty acid methyl esters, monoacylglycerol, and diacylglycerol.

摘要： A light source device for a projector device having a discharge lamp with a silica glass discharge vessel containing a pair of opposed electrodes and at least 0.15 mg/mm3 of mercury, a concave reflector which surrounds the discharge lamp and reflects light emitted from the discharge lamp in a given direction, and a power supply device which selectively supplies a first wattage and a lower second wattage, is provided with a reflection heating arrangement which, in operation of the discharge lamp with the lower second wattage, returns at least part of the light emitted by the discharge lamp in the direction of the discharge lamp, and in operation of the discharge lamp at the first, higher wattage returns less light than in operation with the second wattage in the direction of the discharge lamp.

摘要： Using a chrome plating bath containing organic sulfonic acid, plating is conducted by application of a pulse current to thereby form a crack-free lower chrome layer on a steel substrate. The lower chrome layer has a compressive residual stress of 100 MPa or more and a crystal grain size of from 9 nm to less than 16 nm. Subsequently, by application of a direct current, a cracked upper chrome layer is formed on the lower chrome layer, to thereby obtain a chrome plated part. The lower chrome layer imparts the chrome plated part with heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and the upper chrome layer imparts the chrome plated part with wear resistance and good sliding properties.

摘要： An electronic device system has an electronic device including at least one pair of an identifier and a validity flag. Identifier information and condition are registered into the identifier within the electronic device. When an access is made to the electronic device using an ordinary command, no response will be made since the validity flag is “irresponsive”.
