    摘要： In order to provide an Internet connection terminal apparatus which is capable of correctly determining the Internet connection status without the influences of a DNS cache or the like, an Internet printer (100) includes: a communication unit (102) which provides a communication interface with a network; a TCP/IP protocol stack (103) which provides a protocol processing function in TCP/IP communication; an Internet print application (104) which performs communication processing, print data analysis processing and the like required for a URI print function; a status inquiry processing unit (105) which performs processing for responding to an inquiry about the Internet connection status from another apparatus; an Internet connection checking unit (106) which performs processing for determining whether or not it itself is connected to the Internet; a connection status cache (107) which stores the result of the determination made by the Internet connection checking unit (106); and a DNS client (108) which requests a DNS server to do a name resolution.

The STB (100) includes the following: a communication I/F unit (103) for obtaining a content with which a point value is associated; a job management unit (106b) which outputs the obtained content so as to allow the printer (200) to print it, and also accumulates the point value associated with the content; a point accumulation unit (109); a printer I/F unit (107); and an ordering control unit (106a) for transmitting, to the content distributing apparatus (21), a notification for ordering consumables, together with the accumulated point value. The content distributing apparatus (21) receives the order for the consumables from the STB (100), and performs charging processing of reducing the price of the consumables by the amount equivalent to the point value transmitted together with the order.

The control unit (101) performs the control so as to compare the batch copy completion date and time indicated by the copy date and time identification information with recording date and time information on files stored in the first recording medium, to identify a file recorded in the first recording medium (300) later than the date and time on which the batch copy is performed, and then to copy the identified file to the second recording medium (106).
