摘要： A multi-type pulse-tube refrigerating system includes a common compressor 1 having a sucking port 1b and a discharging port 1a, a plurality of paralleled pressure changeover valve units 21, 22 and 23 connecting between the sucking port 1b and the discharging port 1a of the compressor 1, and a plurality of pulse-tube based cryogenic temperature generating devices 310, 410 and 510 connected to the respective pressure changeover valve units 21, 22 and 23. Employing such cryogenic temperature generating devices 310, 410 and 510, each of which is void of moving parts, limits vibrations. Moreover, instead of the pressure changeover valve units 21, 22 and 23, employing a common pressure changeover valve unit 24 for the units 21, 22 and 23 makes the refrigerating system more compact.

摘要： A higher temperature end of a pulse tube is connected to a lower side of a supporting member so as to position at a lower temperature end of the pulse tube at a lower position. Such a structure prevents free convection of a working gas in the pulse tube, which is a cause of reduced refrigerating efficiency. If a cold head is desired to be contacted with a member to be cooled down from its (lower) side, such a need can be satisfied by mounting the cold head on the lower temperature end of the pulse tube (a lower temperature end of a regenerator).

摘要： A swing training device includes a housing which contains a light source, a power source and a driving circuit for generating a beam, such as a laser beam. Suitable optics, such as a collimator lens and a beam splitter (such as a half-mirror or a prism) are placed in the housing in order to split a highly defined beam so that a first beam is radiated along the longitudinal axis of the golf club shaft and a second beam is radiated at roughly a 90.degree. angle with respect to the first beam. A gravity switch in the swing training device provides that the beams are only radiated during the backswing and follow through of a golf club, thus simplifying operation, saving power and reducing the likelihood of inadvertent radiation of the laser beam into the face of the golfer or bystanders. The invention may also include a mat which has indicia for properly aligning lighted dots generated on the mat by the laser beams in order that the golfer may develop a proper swing form. The housing has a nesting portion which is received within an upper open end of a golf club shaft. The housing is removably secured to the golf club shaft by a collar and set screw arrangement. The cap on the housing may be rotatable to provide for radial adjustment of the second beam, to suit the needs of the golfer.

摘要： A pulse tube refrigerator according to the present invention is capable of performing cryogenic operation sufficiently. The cryostat includes regenerators and pulse tubes. Each regenerator has a cold stage at an upper end thereof. Each pulse tube has a low-temperature end portion at a lower end thereof and a high-temperature end portion thereof, the low-temperature end portion being located lower than the cold stage. The cold stage and the low-temperature end portion are connected to each other through a line whose cubic volume is substantially negligible in comparison with that of the pulse tube. Since the pulse tube has working gas of relatively high density in an upper portion thereof and working gas of relatively low density in a lower portion thereof, there is no convection of working gas induced by the gravity. Thus, the cryostat performs cryogenic operation sufficiently without being adversely affected.
