Abstract:
A surface mounting type planar magnetic device comprised of upper ferrite magnetic film, lower ferrite magnetic film and a planar coil interposed therebetween. For applying surface mount technology, an opening is formed in the upper ferrite magnetic film above a coil terminal portion and then, an external electrode conductive with the coil terminal portion through the opening is formed on the upper ferrite magnetic film. Further, this surface mounting type planar magnetic device is of a thin structure and can be mounted on the surface of a printed board. Its power loss is small, its inductance is large, its frequency characteristic is excellent, the disparity of the characteristic is small and its reliability is excellent.

Abstract:
Several embodiments of off the road vehicles of the type suspended on balloon tires and embodying a motorcycle-type power unit having an internal combustion engine and a crankcase contained change speed transmission. In each embodiment, an auxiliary transmission is carried by the driven axle remotely from the main change speed transmission so as to provide more weight on the driven axle and so as to reduce the overall width of the vehicle. In some embodiments, a power takeoff shaft is driven by the auxiliary transmission.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the invention includes a (meth)acryl-based polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer component including 25% by weight to 99.5% by weight of a cyclic structure-containing monomer and 0.5% by weight to 70% by weight of a branched structure-containing (meth)acryl-based monomer having a branched alkyl group of 3 to 18 carbon atoms at an ester end. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition has a satisfactory level of adhesive performance and can form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a lower dielectric constant.
Abstract:
In a spinning reel, a traverse camshaft 21 is arranged to engage with an engaging member used to cause a bail arm and a spool to undergo a relative reciprocal movement. The traverse camshaft 21 has a shaft body 37 and a cam groove 38. The shaft body 37 is arranged to rotate in coordination with rotation of a handle assembly in at least a line reel-in direction. The cam groove 38 is formed in an external circumferential surface of the shaft body 37 and configured to engage with the engaging member. The cam groove 38 is also configured to intersect itself. The cam groove 38 has a first groove section 38b and a second groove section 38c on opposite sides of an intersecting portion 38a. The first groove section 38b and the second groove section 38c have different widths at the intersecting portion 38a.
Abstract:
A plurality of database hosts hold subscriber information in a distributed manner. A retrieval server processes inquires (host retrieval requests) on which of the database hosts has desired subscriber information stored therein. The retrieval server includes a plurality of processors, and the plurality of processors performs processing in parallel. Therefore, inquiries can be processed at a high speed. Further, a conversion information database and a host information database are provided as in-memory databases, which allow inquiry processes to be processed at a high speed. A call control server can efficiently acquire subscriber information from the database host based on the result of an inquiry made to the retrieval server.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a home subscriber server configuration method and system that is accessible in switching to any one of plural HSS servers in a redundant configuration. Information stored in such plural HSS servers (e.g., HSS-A server 40A and HSS-B server 40B) are synchronized as identical information. When an interrogation for a particular HSS server to be accessed from the I-CSCF server 30 or the S-CSCF server 21 is received, the access information for the plural HSS servers 40A, 40B corresponding to the interrogation is returned after rearranging to the predetermined order of priority to the I-CSCF server 30 or the S-CSCF server 21 from which the inquiry is originated. If no response is received from either one of the HSS servers returned from the SLF server 50 within a predetermined time after the access or if no response is received to the resend operations, the I-CSCF server 30 or the S-CSCF server 21 selects the next HSS server from the plural HSS servers and gains access to such HSS server after switching thereto.
