Abstract: A method and an apparatus for controlling access to a surveillance video are provided. The method includes: acquiring from a user account a view request for viewing a surveillance video file, the view request including authorization information of the user account; performing an identity authentication on the user account according to the authorization information; and allowing a user with the user account to view the surveillance video file when the identity authentication is passed. The present disclosure is used to prohibit freely viewing the surveillance video file.

Abstract: A method for adjusting video quality based on a network environment is provided. The method includes receiving a target frame serial number of a lost video frame from a terminal device, and using a time when the target frame serial number is received as a timestamp of the target frame serial number; determining a number of target frame serial numbers corresponding to timestamps within a predefined time period; decreasing a designated image quality parameter according to a predefined configuration when the number of target frame serial numbers is greater than a first threshold; and increasing the designated image quality parameter according to the predefined configuration when the number of target frame serial numbers is less than a second threshold. The first threshold is greater than the second threshold.

Abstract: A positioning method includes: collecting and analyzing wireless messages sent by at least one wireless device in a current space to obtain a first characteristic pattern associated with the current space; performing a matching process to match the first characteristic pattern to at least one of a plurality of preset characteristic patterns, each of the plurality of preset characteristic patterns being associated with one of a plurality of spaces; obtaining, if the preset characteristic patterns comprise a second characteristic pattern that matches the first characteristic pattern, space information corresponding to the second characteristic pattern; and determining a position of the current space by using the space information corresponding to the second characteristic pattern. Moreover, each characteristic pattern comprises a correspondence between an identifier of each wireless device in a corresponding space and a signal quality of the wireless device.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a terminal device to access a wireless Local Area Network LAN. When a terminal device needs to connect to the wireless LAN, a smart terminal device firstly acquires first access information of the wireless LAN and validates whether the first access information is correct; and when the first access information is correct, the smart terminal device sends the first access information to the terminal device, such that the terminal device utilizes the first access information to access the wireless LAN. The method can ensure the first access information sent to the terminal device is correct, i.e., the terminal device can successfully access the wireless LAN by utilizing the first access information. Thereby, the method can improve the success rate of accessing the wireless LAN by the terminal device.
