摘要: A process head for an electrophotographic apparatus is adapted to charge an electrophotographic film, expose the thus charged film to image light so as to form an image on the film, develop the thus formed image by means of a liquid developer in a developing section, and dry the film then fix the thus developed image. The processing head is capable of supplying a rinsing liquid to the developing section after the completion of the developing. Therefore, any liquid developer adhering to the developing section can be removed.

摘要: A charging device for use in an electrophotographic apparatus is disclosed which charges, with improved efficiency and uniformity, a limited area of an electrophotosensitive member where a picture image is to be formed by corona discharge and which uniformly distributes electrostatic charges over the entire surface of the above area of the electrophotosensitive member. In the device, conductive members are disposed on both sides of a corona wire in the charging chamber to act as mating electrodes, and a mask in the form of a flexible film projects toward the opening of the chamber in such a manner as to make intimate contact with the electrophotosensitive member during charging.

摘要: YMCK halftone dot percentage data from an image editor are converted into color image data in an XYZ colorimetric system with a common color space conversion table generated by a common color space conversion table generator. The color image data are converted into a gamut mapping and appearance corresponding to an image monitor device with a gamut mapping/appearance table generated by a gamut mapping/appearance generator. Then, the color image data are converted into color image data in a device color space of an image output unit with a device color space conversion table generated by a device color space conversion table generator for thereby predicting a color image which will be reproduced by the image output unit. Alternatively, the YMCK halftone dot percentage data from the image editor may be corrected using dot gain correcting coefficients established respectively for tristimulus values X, Y, Z, and then converted into color image data in the XYZ color space with a common color space conversion table.

摘要: A color space data conversion formula corresponding to the input and output conditions can be selected from basic profiles which consists of a plurality of the conversion formulas for color reproduction processes. A plurality of parameters or a plurality of variable conversion formulas can be selected from subprofiles, in accordance with the input and output conditions and on the ground of the color space data conversion formula selected from the basic profiles. Basic profiles or subprofiles can be added or modified. The color image data are processed highly accurately to obtain color images of high reproducibility, for thereby facilitating the setting of the input and output conditions.

摘要: An electrophotographic plate-making apparatus in which a light beam is applied to the surface of a photoconductive sensitive material from a light-beam applying device so as to form an image and a register mark on the surface of the sensitive material the image and the register mark are transferred onto an outer peripheral surface of an intermediate transfer material, a recording material and the intermediate transfer material are moved while the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate transfer while the outer peripheral surface of the are brought into contact with each other, the movement of the recording material and the intermediate transfer material is controlled by detecting the transferred register mark, thereby to transfer the image onto the recording material with high positional accuracy. By forming the register mark through light-beam scanning, it is possible to provide the photosensitive material with the register mark efficiently and reliably, so that the image can be transferred onto the recording material with high positional accuracy.

摘要: A developing apparatus wherein a developer is supplied to an exposed electrophotographic film to develop an image formed on the film has a developing section provided with an electrode which is disposed in opposing relation to the film. A bias voltage of the same polarity as that of the film which is electrically charged is applied to the electrode to prevent fogging of the image. The bias voltage is lowered or made opposite in polarity for a relatively short period of time, thereby momentarily improving the adhesion of the developer to the film, and thus allowing the developer to reliably adhere even to a relatively low density portion of the image.

摘要: A developing apparatus for bringing a film into contact with a frame portion which defines a developing chamber in such a manner that a surface of the film formed an electrostatic latent image is opposed to a developing electrode disposed in the developing chamber, and for developing the film under a liquid developer supplied to the developing chamber while applying a bias voltage to the developing electrode. The developing apparatus interrupts the application of the bias voltage to the developing electrode at the time of the contact. Consequently, discharge between the film and the developing electrode can be prevented at the time of the contact.
