Abstract:
A first connector has a housing holding a female contact. A second connector has a housing holding a male contact. The connectors are connected to each other by inserting the male contact into the female contact along an insertion direction. The female contact has a support portion and a spring portion having a contact point. The spring portion is located above the support portion in the vertical direction. The male contact is insertable between the spring portion and the support portion. The male contact has a contact portion, a tip, an upper slope and a lower slope. The contact portion contacts the contact point when the male contact is inserted into the female contact. The upper slope extends from the tip to the contact portion, sloping over a first tapering range. The lower slope extends from the tip to the contact portion, sloping over a shorter second tapering range.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an exposure processing method of a planographic printing plate comprising: providing an image recording layer containing a polymerizable compound which is solid at the room temperature, a polymerization initiator, and a light-to-heat converting agent, and a microcapsule encapsulating at least one of the monomer and the polymerization initiator, such that the light energy quantity absorbed in the lower part of the image recording layer is more than the light energy quantity absorbed in the upper and middle parts of the image recording layer; exposing the image recording layer, and thereafter post-heating the image recording layer at a temperature in a range equal to or above the melting point of the monomer and below the glass transition point of the wall of the microcapsule. As a result, the printing resistance of a planographic printing plate is enhanced.
Abstract:
A method of developing a photosensitive planographic printing plate which includes a support and a recording layer and which has been exposed to a light beam with a developer, wherein the photosensitive planographic printing plate is immersed in the developer while being conveyed, and development is accelerated by brushing the immersed photosensitive planographic printing plate with a brush member produced by winding, around a peripheral surface of an axially rotating roller, a brushing band composed of a sheet-like substrate containing a hairy material woven therein.
Abstract:
A method of purging an excess of a liquid developer in an electrophotographic apparatus including the steps of pressing an electrophotosensitive film formed with an electrostatic latent image against an opening of a developing chamber to close the opening, supplying the liquid developer into the developing chamber to toner-develop the electrostatic latent image, discharging the liquid developer, and supplying gas under pressure into the developing chamber to purge the liquid developer remaining in the developing chamber as well as excess of the liquid developer attaching to the electrophotosensitive film. In the method, the flow rate of the gas at the surface of the electrophotosensitive film may be changed according to a predetermined time chart so that the excess of the liquid developer remaining after the process of development can be quickly purged without degrading the picture quality.
Abstract:
A retainer is incorporated into a fitting portion of a housing so as to be movable between a preset position and a set position in a direction crossing terminal receiving holes. Further, a seal member is attached to an outer periphery of the fitting portion. The seal member is brought into close contact with an inner periphery of a fitting hole of a mating connector for sealing when the fitting portion is fitted to the fitting hole. The retainer has projections which retreat to the sides of the terminal receiving holes to allow insertion of terminals into the terminal receiving holes when the retainer is at the preset position and which project into the terminal receiving holes to engage with the terminals so as to hold the terminals in a come-off preventing state when the retainer is at the set position. The retainer and the seal member are provided at positions which overlap each other in a direction of fitting to the mating connector.
Abstract:
The plate exposing apparatus includes an exposing unit for exposing to light an original plate of a printing plate that does not have an oxygen barrier layer, on which latent image is formed by photo-polymerization based on exposure and which is subjected to alkali development, an oxygen interrupting unit for ensuring that the exposure is performed such that at least an exposed area of the original plate being exposed to light are substantially deprived of oxygen at least during the exposure and an oxygen blocking time control unit for controlling a period of time for which oxygen is interrupted by the oxygen interrupting unit.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide an image forming method for a planographic printing plate. In the method, a planographic printing plate precursor in which an image recording layer containing a thermally sensitive and thermally curable material is formed on an aluminium support is scanning exposed with a relatively weak laser beam, and a latent image is formed, which is composed of an image recording layer part whose surface layer is thermally cured corresponding to an image and an unexposed image recording layer part which is not thermally cured. The unexposed image recording layer part which is not thermally cured is then removed by simple water development. Then, by carrying out heating, the whole image recording layer part remaining on the surface of the aluminum support is uniformly cured and firmly fixed. The invention also provides an image forming apparatus for a planographic printing plate.

A driving device for providing a rotation drive to the roller pair. A drive controlling device that gradually raises voltage of the electric power at the time of starting the rotation drive of the roller pair.
Abstract:
A method of protecting a tree including removing parts of the tree which are one of susceptible to necrosis from pathogenic microbes or affected by necrosis and leaving exposed tree surfaces; and applying to the exposed tree surfaces a composition which is an ointment and which is effective to protect a tree against disease which includes allyl isothiocyanate; vinyl acetate resin as a spreading agent; water-based colored paint; metallic powder which is finely divided and which is one of iron or ferrous oxide; and pH regulating agent. The allyl isothiocyanate may be encapsulated by a coating material.
Abstract:
In a developing head of an electrophotographic system which develops an image by bringing a liquid developer into contact with a photosensitive face of electrophotographic material, through an opening provided in the developing head, a right angle is formed between the photosensitive face and the in-flow and out-flow route for the liquid developer and a gas for removing excess developer at the opening. A pressure-reducing chamber is formed between a frame around the opening and a frame surrounding the pressure-reducing chamber, both frames tightly contacting the electrophotosensitive material. Thus, the gap between the photosensitive face and a developing electrode is reduced and high speed for the gas for removing the developer is obtained. Liquid developer exuding from the frame around the opening is captured in the pressure-reducing chamber.
