摘要: An example system includes an annular support structure defining an aperture, a plurality of light emitters secured to the annular support structure, a plurality of light sensors secured to the annular support structure, and a computer system communicatively coupled to the light emitters and the light sensors. The light emitters are configured to emit a plurality of photons into the aperture. The light sensors are configured to obtain measurement data regarding one or more of the photons reflecting and/or scattering from a subject disposed within the aperture. The computer system is configured to determine one or more properties of the subject based on the measurement data.

摘要: The present teachings generally include techniques for characterizing the health of an animal (e.g., gastrointestinal health) using image analysis (e.g., of a stool sample) as a complement, alternative, or a replacement to biological specimen sequencing. The present teachings may also or instead include techniques for personalizing a health and wellness plan (including, but not limited to, a dietary supplement such as a customized formula based on a health assessment), where such a health and wellness plan may be based on one or more of the health characterization techniques described herein. The present teachings may also or instead include techniques or plans for continuous care for an animal, e.g., by executing health characterization and heath planning techniques in a cyclical fashion. A personalized supplement system (e.g., using a personalized supplement, personalized dosing device, and personalized packaging) may also or instead be created using the present teachings.

The processor is configured to execute the one or more instructions to: obtain a first raw data and a first TGC information corresponding to the first raw data from a storage medium; obtain a first ultrasound image by applying the first TGC information to the first raw data; control the first display to display the first ultrasound image; control the second display to display the first TGC information and receive a user input for modifying the first TGC information to a second TGC information; update the first ultrasound image by applying the second TGC information to the first raw data; and control the first display to display the updated first ultrasound image.

The driving unit adjusts the positions of the radiation irradiation unit and the detector such that the diagnosis object is located between the radiation irradiation unit and the detector, and the radiation irradiation unit irradiates the radiation toward the diagnosis object when the diagnosis object is located between the radiation irradiation unit and the detector.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed to objectively identify sub-second behavioral modules in the three-dimensional (3D) video data that represents the motion of a subject. Defining behavioral modules based upon structure in the 3D video data itself— rather than using a priori definitions for what should constitute a measurable unit of action— identifies a previously-unexplored sub-second regularity that defines a timescale upon which behavior is organized, yields important information about the components and structure of behavior, offers insight into the nature of behavioral change in the subject, and enables objective discovery of subtle alterations in patterned action. The systems and methods of the invention can be applied to drug or gene therapy classification, drug or gene therapy screening, disease study including early detection of the onset of a disease, toxicology research, side-effect study, learning and memory process study, anxiety study, and analysis in consumer behavior.
