Abstract:
A massage roller includes a cylindrical tube body having an inner surface; a supporting core attached on the inner surface of the cylindrical tube body to form a cylindrical cavity; and a filing unit disposed inside the cylindrical cavity to improve the strength of the massage roller.
Abstract:
A sexual aid device comprising a main body (100) and a cervical void (110), sized and shaped to shield a cervix (350) during intercourse. This self-retaining device comprises a means to prevent a penis from colliding with the cervix (350), a means to shield the anterior vagina wall from frictional contact during sexual intercourse and at least one means to retain the sexual aid device within the vagina. This device provides a non-surgical, cost-effective solution to allow for more comfortable deeper penetration by guiding the penis away from the cervix.
Abstract:
An Implantable ElectroAcupuncture Device (IEAD) treats cardiovascular disease through application of stimulation pulses applied at at least one of acupoints EX-HN1, BL14, HT7, HT5, PC6, ST36, LI11, LU7, and LU2. The IEAD comprises an implantable, coin-sized, self-contained, leadless electroacupuncture device having at least two electrodes attached to an outside surface of its housing. The device generates stimulation pulses in accordance with a specified stimulation regimen. Power management circuitry within the device allows a primary battery, having a high internal impedance, to be used to power the device. The stimulation regimen generates stimulation pulses during a stimulation session of duration T3 minutes applied every T4 minutes. The duty cycle, or ratio T3/T4 is very low, no greater than 0.05. The low duty cycle and careful power management allow the IEAD to perform its intended function for several years.
Abstract:
A massage device having a body with two end sections attached to a center section. The center section of the body has a motor and a heating unit, and each end section has an eccentric weight that are connected to the motor such that vibrations generated by the motor are transferred to each eccentric weight. The massage device also has a control mechanism configured to adjust the vibration of the massage device, and a microcontroller connected to the control mechanism and the motor to control the operation of the motor. A storage unit for storing a message device is capable of sanitizing, heating, and charging the message device.
Abstract:
Devices and methods for performing CPR on a patient within an imaging field of an imaging device. The device has a compression belt and a belt tensioning mechanism, both located on or in the device such that the head, neck, thorax and abdomen of the patient may be place within the imaging field with the compression belt installed about the patient and the belt tensioning mechanism will be located outside of the imaging field.

Abstract:
A suction cup includes a body having a sidewall extending around an interior space and a rim extending around an opening to the cup interior space. At least a portion of the body is elastic and configured so that the body is capable of being squeezed to transition the body from an at-rest configuration to a partially-collapsed configuration, and elastically biased toward the at-rest configuration. The volume of an interior space of the cup of the body is greater in the at-rest configuration than in the partially-collapsed configuration. The rim is less stiff than a portion of the sidewall that is spaced apart from the rim. The relatively soft rim seeks to provide optimal adhesion to the skin of a user, fortification of at least a portion the body of the cup seeks to better maintain its shape for enhanced ease of use, and other features can be included.
Abstract:
A stimulation system for a wearable article comprises an actuator controllable to deliver a mechanical stimulus to a muscle of a wearer of the article, and one or more electrodiagnostic sensors operable to sense muscle activity from a wearer. The actuator may comprise a structure formed of piezoelectric nanofiber mesh. Also described is a wearable article, a method of delivering a stimulus to a muscle and a method of manufacturing an actuator.

Abstract:
A method of treating cardiovascular disease in a patient includes generating, by an implantable stimulator configured to be implanted beneath a skin surface of the patient, stimulation sessions at a duty cycle that is less than 0.05 and applying, by the implantable stimulator in accordance with the duty cycle, the stimulation sessions to a location, within the patient, that is associated with the cardiovascular disease. The duty cycle is a ratio of T3 to T4. Each stimulation session included in the stimulation sessions has a duration of T3 minutes and occurs at a rate of once every T4 minutes.
