Abstract: A system and method for easily operated self-releasing stopper/cork for bottles of compressed liquids. The corks have a gas bladder that is designed to be inserted in a bottle and inflated, the bladder having a ribbed or smooth exterior to complete the sealing of the bottle whereby a gas release mechanism can be activated by depressing a button on a cap or via an on-board micro controller and/or electro-mechanical release solution in the cap. Once the gas is released from the bladder the pressure inside the vessel will collapse the bladder's bottom and eject the cork assembly from the bottle.

Abstract: Current cartridge-style mixers due not have the ability to measure mixing performance nor determine the need for maintenance based on performance. Risks of non-homogeneous mixing and insufficient maintenance can exist with cartridge-style mixers. A mixing system comprises a mixing apparatus, a first switch, a magnetic switch, and a controller. The mixing apparatus is configured to receive a cartridge and to mix a material. The mixing apparatus comprises a linear actuator configured to translate the cartridge or plunger in a vertical direction and a spindle configured to rotate a plunger. The first switch is configured to measure a number of strokes per unit of time of operating the linear actuator. The magnetic switch is configured to measure a speed of the spindle. The controller is configured to receive one or more mixing parameters, actuate the spindle and the linear actuator, and actuate a light to indicate if there was sufficient mixing.

Abstract: A stirring device includes the following. A rotating holder is capable of performing a rotating operation in a state where the rotating holder holds a cartridge that accommodates a liquid agent in which a solute is precipitated in a solvent by the liquid agent being left still. A drive motor causes the rotating holder to perform the rotating operation. A posture controller corrects a stop position of the rotating holder to position the cartridge in a first posture in a case where an operation of the drive motor is stopped in a state where the cartridge is in a second posture that is different from the first posture. The first posture is a state in which the cartridge is in a normal stop posture.

Abstract: A mixing device comprising a multi-element spring system in which an eccentric load, coupled to a rotor of a motor, is located towards a first end of a first beam realising a backbone for the mixing device. One or more connections interconnect the backbone respectively to one or more other beams to produce the multi-element spring system. A load, such as a vial or other container in which is located a diluent, is located remotely from the motor. As such, the spring system supports two independent but complementary eccentric load generating subsystems arising from, respectively, the controlled rotation of the rotor (and its eccentric load) and then, in response to rotation of the connected eccentric load on the rotor, swirling of the diluent in the vial/container. Both these eccentric loads contribute to a complex multidirectional flexing of the multi-element spring system relative to a fixed anchor point, with this multidirectional flexing working to induce a swirling motion in the contents of the container.
