摘要: The invention relates broadly to injection molding machines and more particularly to a novel barrel assembly for use in an injection unit of an injection molding machine. Barrels are conventionally mounted at an end in a carriage of an injection unit. Axial carriage force is directed along the entire length of the barrel which requires a thick barrel wall to withstand the axial carriage force. A barrel assembly is disclosed having a first barrel coupler and a second barrel coupler. The first barrel coupler secures the barrel intermediate the ends of the barrel to a carriage. The second barrel coupler retains an end of the barrel in the carriage preventing rotation of the barrel during operation. The barrel section between the first barrel coupler and an end of the barrel is isolated from axial carriage force in operation.

摘要: The invention comprises a plasticating machine for the working and forcing of plastic material into a mold, said machine including an elongated housing having a first or proximal end and a second or distal end, an elongated screw shaft with a screw flight therearound, the screw shaft being rotatably supported in the elongated housing, for the working of plastic between the screw shaft and the elongated housing with at least one delivery conduit generally longitudinally arranged through the screw shaft, from a proximal end to a distal tip end thereof. The conduit may be arranged to be movable with respect to the screw shaft to permit delivery of a medium through the screw shaft to any plastic being driven from the machine. The medium may be any single or combination of components selected from the group comprising vapor, liquid, gas, powder or solid, to control the machine or treat any plastic being driven therefrom.

摘要: Pressure moulding process, and related device (100), for manufacturing an article, the process comprising: —providing a substrate (70) made of a composite material comprising a first polymeric material and fibres impregnated with said first polymeric material; —providing a coating sheet (71); —heating said substrate (70) to a temperature of the substrate (70) greater than 160° C.; —subsequently, during a first compression step, compressing under pressure the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) between a first conformation surface (1) and a second conformation surface (2) for conforming the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) and for firmly fixing the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) to each other; —during a second compression step subsequent to the first compression step, compressing under pressure the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) between the first (1) and second conformation surface (2) and injecting a second polymeric material in an injection cavity (3) having an outlet mouth (4) onto the first conformation surface (1), wherein a first face of the substrate (70) opposite to the coating sheet (71) is in contact with the first conformation surface (1); —cooling the second polymeric material for firmly fixing the second polymeric material to the first face of the substrate (70), wherein, during the first compression step, a temperature of the first (1) and second conformation surface (2) is less than 120° C.

摘要: A screw can be driven along an axial direction of a heating barrel and rotatable. An injection piston drives the screw along the axial direction. An injection hydraulic cylinder is partitioned into a first chamber in which pressured hydraulic oil for driving the injection piston is supplied and a second chamber from which hydraulic oil is discharged, and drives the injection piston in the axial direction by hydraulic pressure. A first oil discharge port is blocked by the injection piston when the injection piston advances to a holding pressure switching position. A second oil discharge port can discharge the hydraulic oil from the front chamber regardless of the position of the injection piston. The first oil discharge port is disposed at a position opposed to the first oil discharge port across a center axis of the injection hydraulic cylinder, and is connected to the first oil discharge port.
