摘要: A vehicle lamp includes a light source unit including a plurality of light sources; an optical unit including a plurality of incidence lenses, a plurality of emission lenses corresponding to the plurality of incidence lenses, and a plurality of shields each configured to block a part of light from being incident on each of the plurality of emission lenses; and a light transmission unit that transmits light generated from the light source unit to the optical unit. In particular, the optical unit is divided into a plurality of transmission regions that transmit the light generated from each of the plurality of light sources to allow a pattern region corresponding to each of the plurality of light sources to be formed.

摘要: The present invention is provided with: an outer housing configured from a housing having an opening, and a translucent cover closing the opening; a substrate disposed inside of the outer hosing; a camera module, which has an image pickup element, and is disposed on the substrate; and a light emitting element, which is provided as a light source, and is disposed on the substrate. Consequently, since the camera module and the light emitting element are disposed on the substrate that is disposed inside of the outer housing, the number of configuration components is small, thereby achieving reduction of the number of components, and size reduction.

摘要: A method for operating at least one direction indicator of a motor vehicle, wherein, as of an actuation time, the direction indicator outputs a light signal comprising a periodic repetition of alternately successive on-phases and off-phases. A discrepancy of a starting phase angle of the light signal with respect to a predefined reference signal is determined at the actuation time and is compared with a predefined target phase angle assigned to the direction indicator. When there is a phase offset between the starting phase angle and the target phase angle—at least two of the on-phases and/or the off-phases of the light signal are extended or shortened by a different time difference value in each case after the actuation time such that the phase angle of the light signal with respect to the reference signal then corresponds to the predefined target phase angle, and/or—the light signal is started with a first off-phase (11) at the actuation time. The duration of the first off-phase corresponds to a time offset corresponding to the phase offset between the starting phase angle and the predefined target phase angle, with the result that an on-phase of the light signal following the first off-phase is at the target phase angle with respect to the reference signal.

摘要: An auxiliary lighting system for a helmet operable with a lighting system of a vehicle comprising a vehicle brake light, comprised of a helmet portion and a vehicle portion. The helmet portion is comprised of a helmet lighting unit, a microcontroller in communication with the helmet brake light, and a helmet transceiver in communication with the microcontroller. The vehicle portion is comprised of a supporting body, a vehicle transceiver, and an accelerometer joined to the supporting body and in communication with the microcontroller. The microcontroller is programmed with an algorithm such that the microcontroller receives a signal indicative of the relative position of the accelerometer, determines the performance capability of the accelerometer in detecting acceleration of the vehicle with respect to the Earth based upon the signal indicative of the position of the accelerometer, and presents an indication of accelerometer performance capability.
