Abstract: An antenna of the present invention includes a laminate body including a conductor core, an insulator layer, and a conductor pattern. The conductor pattern is a conductor layer formed of a conducting body disposed on a radially outer side of the insulator layer. The conductor core and the conductor pattern are connected to each other in such a manner that a current is made to flow in a direction from the conductor core to the conductor pattern or in a direction opposite thereto so as to coincide with a power supply direction.

Abstract: A broadband quadruple helical circularly-polarized antenna for receiving circularly polarized GNSS signals includes a dielectric cylinder oriented along a vertical axis; four spiral conductors wrapped around the cylinder; the four spiral conductors divided into an upper longitudinal section and a lower longitudinal section; and inductors connecting corresponding spiral conductors of the top and lower longitudinal sections. The spiral conductors in each section have a constant winding angle around the cylinder. The winding angle of all of the conductors in the same longitudinal section is the same. The winding angle of the upper longitudinal section is smaller than the winding angle of the bottom longitudinal. An excitation circuit is connected to the conductors. A third longitudinal section is below the lower longitudinal section, wherein the third longitudinal section includes conductors wound in an opposite direction relative to the lower longitudinal section.

Abstract: A broadband quadruple helical circularly-polarized antenna for receiving GNSS signals comprises an excitation circuit and a set of quadruple spiral elements. Each quadruple spiral element consists of four conductors. Each conductor is a one spiral turn of the quadruple spiral element. Said conductors have equal winding angle. The winding angle of all conductors does not change in the same quadruple spiral element. Conductors of neighboring (longitudinally) quadruple spiral elements have different winding angles. The antenna provides a sharp drop in AP at angles near the horizon and a small AP level in the lower hemisphere.

Abstract: A wireless communication device for use in a load control system for controlling one or more electrical loads may comprise a counterpoise, a first and second antennas, a RF communication circuit and a control circuit. The two antennas may be oriented differently and spaced apart from each other. For example, the first antenna may extend perpendicularly from the counterpoise while the second antenna extends in a plane substantially parallel to the counterpoise. The first antenna may extend from the counterpoise at a point substantially central to the counterpoise while the second antenna may extend along a perimeter of the counterpoise. The RF communication circuit may transmit wireless signals via the first and second antennas. The control circuit may cause the RF communication circuit to transmit a first wireless signal in a first time slot and a second wireless signal in a second time slot.

Abstract: A helix antenna device includes a board, a signal output circuit, a column body, a ground wire, and a helix antenna. The signal output circuit is disposed on the board. The helix trough is formed around an annular side surface of the column body. The ground wire passes into the passage. Abstract: An antenna configured in a hybrid circuit provides a compact design for a hearing aid to communicate wirelessly with a system external to the hearing aid. In an embodiment, an antenna includes metallic traces in a hybrid circuit that is configured for use in a hearing aid. The antenna includes contacts in the hybrid circuit to couple the metallic traces to electronic devices in the hybrid circuit. In an embodiment, the metallic traces form a planar coil design having a number of turns of the coil in a substrate in the hybrid circuit. In another embodiment, the metallic traces are included in a flex circuit on a substrate in the hybrid circuit. An antenna configured in a hybrid circuit allows for use in a completely-in-the-canal hearing aid.
