    摘要: An angularly adjustable antenna mounting assembly for mounting a mobile antenna to the exterior surface of a motor vehicle includes a semi-hemispherical mounting shell. The antenna base is secured to the exterior surface of the shell by a pin member which extends through the shell and is retained therein by a retaining plate biased against the interior surface of the shell. The antenna is connected to the other end of the pin member by a quick-release bayonet connection which also serves to establish electrical connection to the antenna. The mounting angle of the antenna is adjusted by adjusting the location of the bridging plate within the shell.

    摘要: A four element television frequency antenna of the dipole type, for indoor reception use, the four dipole rods being pivotally connected to a common supporting bracket so as to be capable of different degrees of positioning, the bracket being so designed as to pre-determine the usual or normal positions of reception adjustment. The antenna is of a size, bulk, and configuration to optionally enable it to be bodily horizontally disposed largely under a television receiver so as to be supported by the floor of a room. The four dipole rods are connectable to a standard selector switch structure, separate therefrom, and by which, through conventional means, various effective directivity patterns may be manually selected.

    摘要: A transmission line transition that couples RF energy between a coaxial cable and an air dielectric microstrip is provided. In some embodiments, the transition can combine a thin printed circuit board substrate and an insulating surface to form an effective capacitive coupling transition that can couple RF energy from the center conductor of a coaxial cable to an air microstrip. In some embodiments, the transition can include an insulating system affixed to a metallic surface, and the insulating system can secure an airstrip conductor in close proximity to an inner conductor of a coaxial cable to capacitively couple the airstrip conductor to the inner conductor of the coaxial cable. In some embodiments, the transition can employ a metallic body coated with an insulating surface to capacitively couple RF energy from the center conductor of the coaxial cable to the air microstrip.
