摘要: A fire suppression system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a detection unit for detecting a particular change due to a fire and transmitting a particular change value as a measurement value; a fire extinguishing unit for spraying a fire extinguishing substance; a control unit for receiving the measurement signal and transmitting an execution signal to the fire extinguishing unit; and a management unit enabling a user or a manager to confirm whether or not there is a fire, and for remotely operating the fire extinguishing unit, wherein the control unit transmits a notification signal to the management unit only when a measured measurement data value exceeds a threshold value, and transmits the execution signal only when an operation command is received from the management unit, thereby enhancing convenience and safety and reducing the initial cost.

摘要: The system and device for rapid communication with emergency responders during a crisis includes a wearable alarm and notification device. The wearable device is worn by, for example, the staff and faculty members of a school. When activated, the wearable device sends a signal to a central system or server, the central system simultaneously triggering numerous actions. For example, the server simultaneously performs the following actions: sending alerts to parties based on predefined groups; causing the public address system to play an alarm or a prerecorded message; sending messages by additional other means, for example SMS, email, phone calls, push notifications, and so forth; and triggering a lockdown, the lockdown either of the area around the activated mobile device, the entire campus, or a subset of the entire campus.

摘要: A safety automation system for an occupiable structure includes a computing management system, a first detection device, and a second detection device. The management system includes a computer processor, and a computer readable storage medium configured to run embedded software, The first detection device is adapted to detect a hazard condition and output an associated hazard condition detected signal to the computing management system. The second detection device is adapted to detect the presence of an occupant in the occupiable structure and the occupant's proximity to the first detection device, and output an occupied signal to the computing management system. The computing management system adjusts the sensitivity of the first detection device based on occupancy and proximity of the occupant to the first detection device.

The sensors and receivers may communicate with a central server via a gateway device, and may be controlled by users locally or remotely via the server. Users may register to receive remote notifications of weather events and other home monitoring events. Users may also access remotely sensors and receivers to configure alerts, notifications, and automatic responses for the devices and integrated appliances at the remote location.

摘要: A security system is provided to integrate a local existing security system with other security and automation devices which may not be compatible with the existing security system. The security system can connect and integrate an existing security system, and provide a centralized point of controlling all existing and new security and automation devices in a premise, thereby allowing flexibility in modifying and expanding a security system in the premise without need of replacing the security system that has been already installed throughout the premise. The security system can at least partially self-program to communicate with an existing security system when the security system is connected to the existing security system.
