摘要: A fractional concentrated stator for use in electric aircraft motor includes an inner and outer cylindrical surface about an axis of rotation comprising different radii. The stator includes a plurality of teeth disposed on the inner cylindrical surface and extending radially inward, the cross-sectional area of each tooth increasing as it extends from the inner cylindrical surface. The stator includes a plurality of modular winding sets, each comprising at least a segment of electrically conductive material wound upon at least a tooth, an inverter providing electrical power to a configurable portion of the stator, and rotor shaft at the axis of rotation disposed coaxially within the stator. The rotor shaft further includes a cylindrical surface facing the inner cylindrical surface of the stator, a plurality of magnets coupled to rotor shaft and coupled to a propulsor and an air gap between the rotor and stator.

An example method includes commencing operation of a processing device to cause operation of the linear electric motor to raise and lower the top drive. The linear electric motor may have a stator connected to and extending vertically along a mast of the drilling rig, and a rotor connected to the top drive and operable to move relative to the stator. The rotor may be connected to the top drive via one or more flexible lines.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for a drive mechanism of a vehicle, that may include: a rotor comprising a ring of a plurality of magnets located about a circumference of a rim of a wheel of the vehicle, the plurality of magnets generating a first magnetic field; a stator comprising a plurality of coils, the stator mounted to a body of the vehicle, and located outside a wheel of the vehicle and proximate to an outer edge of the ring of the plurality of magnets; and wherein the plurality of coils of the stator, when energized by an AC waveform, generate a second magnetic field stator, and further wherein an interaction between the first and second magnetic fields creates an attractive force causing tractive motion of the wheel about an axis of rotation of the wheel.
