Abstract: In some embodiments, the present invention provides for a computer-implemented method, including: causing, by a specifically programmed computer call management communication system, to transform, over a computer network, computing devices of users, into corresponding specialized call management devices, by having each computing device to execute a specialized call management client software application being in electronic communication with the specifically programmed computer call management communication system over the computer network by utilizing SIP; where the specialized call management client software application generates specialized graphical user interfaces configured to allow each user to concurrently initiate and maintain, over the computer network, a plurality of voice communications of distinct types with other users, by, for example, allowing each user to independently and dynamically divert, in real-time, any voice communication of any type to any audio device associated with a corresponding specialized call management device of such user.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be equipped with multiple subscriber identity modules (SIMS) capable of supporting emergency calls. When an emergency call is detected, the UE may send emergency call requests to a network through the multiple SIMS. The UE may handle the emergency call through whichever SIM that receives the earliest successful response from the network. By utilizing multiple SIMS to establish the emergency call, both reliability and session response time may be enhanced.

Abstract: Video-assisted presence detection is used to enhance a user experience in telephony communications. Image data, video data, or both, from a camera are used to determine whether a user is present at their device before a call is transferred to him or her. The video-assisted presence detection can be implemented based on a privacy setting. For example, one implementation allows a system to have partial access to a detector to detect user presence without capturing facial information, and without identifying that person. Another implementation allows the system to have partial access to the detector to detect user presence without having access to a video feed of the detector.

Abstract: A method comprising obtaining a phone number of a mobile device used to make an emergency call through a first connection. The method also can include transmitting a uniform resource locator (URL) link to the mobile device through a second connection based on the phone number. The second connection is different from the first connection. The URL link enables a user of the mobile device to establish a WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) session through a web browser on the mobile device. The method additionally can include receiving a real-time video stream from the mobile device through the WebRTC session. The method further can include sending the real-time video stream to be displayed on a screen of a recipient. The real-time video stream is associated with an identifier for the mobile device. Abstract: A method and apparatus for visual engagement using automatically dynamically selected visualization mediums is described that will allow visual engagement via visual engagement sessions between customers and agents regardless of the type of application in use at the customer. Calls between customers and agents are implemented using the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and visual engagement sessions are added to the calls, which enables visual engagement to occur without requiring modification of the manner in which calls are handled (routed) and bridged at the call center. In some embodiments, to enable an agent to see an output of an application client in use by a customer, a visualization system automatically selects one or more types of visualization technology for a visualization session with the customer based on the type of application client in use at the customer.

Abstract: The voice call device includes a processor, and a memory having instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations as follows. After a voice call is initiated via a user equipment (UE) device over 5G NR, a status of an IMS registration (e.g., failed, in progress, etc.) for the UE is identified. For example, in response to determining that the status of IMS registration for the UE is in-progress, the voice call can be held, and a wait timer initiated. If the IMS registration completes prior to the wait timer expiring, the voice call is conducted over 5G NR or 4G Long-term Evolution (LTE).

Abstract: Various embodiments may include methods and systems for avoiding connecting an illegitimate call within a telecommunications network. Various embodiments may include receiving, from a telecommunications network, an incoming call initiating message notifying the first wireless device of an incoming call, in which the incoming call initiating message includes caller information. Some embodiments may further include transmitting a provisional response message including callee information of the first wireless device in response to receiving the incoming call initiating message, transmitting a request message to a second wireless device based on the caller information and the callee information, determining whether the second wireless device initiated the incoming call based on a response message from the second wireless device, if received, in response to the request message, and taking an action to prevent connection of the incoming call in response to determining that the second wireless device did not initiate the incoming call.

Abstract: A first SBC establishes a first media session between a transferor and a transferee. A second SBC establishes a second media session between the transferor and a transfer target. The first SBC receives a REFER message initiated by the transferor and determines that a dialog ID in the REFER message does not correspond to a media session currently being handled by the first SBC. The first SBC sends a SIP INVITE message to a plurality of SBCs, including the second SBC, that are in a load sharing group with the first SBC. The SIP INVITE message includes the dialog ID associated with the second media session, which triggers the second SBC to re-use the second media session to establish a media session between the transferee and the transfer target.
