摘要: A foldable flexible assembling of cells for a lithium-ion battery including: a separator containing an electrolyte; a series of n physically separated negative electrodes located on the first side of the separator and a series of n physically separated positive electrodes located on the second side of the separator; a first current collector including a layer covering continuously the series of negative electrodes so as to ensure electrical connection between all the negative electrodes; and a second current collector including a layer covering continuously the series of positive electrodes so as to ensure electrical connection between all the positive electrodes.

The battery cell includes: a shell with a first wall; an electrode assembly; and a first current collecting member, where the first wall has a first surface facing the first current collecting member, the first current collecting member has a second surface facing the first wall, one of the first surface and the second surface is provided with a protrusion and the other abuts against the protrusion to form a gap between the first wall and the first current collecting member; and the first current collecting member is provided with a first hole and a second hole, and the first hole is configured to be in communication with the second hole through the gap.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a power storage cell includes: a preparing step of preparing an electrode sheet including a current collecting foil and an active material layer; a cutting step of forming a plurality of cuts in the current collecting foil; and a winding step of winding the electrode sheet around a winding core. The current collecting foil includes an end region that is not provided with the active material layer. In the cutting step, the plurality of cuts are formed in the end region such that a coupling portion is formed in the end region. In the winding step, the electrode sheet is wound around the winding core to cause the coupling portion to be fractured along the cuts and the fracturing of the coupling portion forms connecting pieces that are leaned toward the winding core.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electrode assembly and a traction battery. The electrode assembly includes a plurality of tabs. The plurality of tabs is stacked to each other. At least one of the plurality of tabs includes a tab body and a free end connected to the tab body. The free end is formed into a bent portion through at least a single bending. The bent portion is stacked at a side of the tab body. In some specific embodiments, the tab is designed as a long tab with a long length. When ultrasonic welding is performed, the tab is bent to form the bent portion, and the bent portion is stacked on the tab body for the ultrasonic welding. In this case, since a thickness of a position where the ultrasonic welding is performed is increased, welding stability of the tab can be improved.

摘要: An electrochemical device and an electronic device containing the electrochemical device. With a first accommodation portion disposed in the electrochemical device, a specific accommodation space is provided for a bend portion of a first tab, thereby avoiding a need to additionally increasing space for accommodating the bend portion, where the space is originally intended for accommodating the electrode assembly. This effectively saves the space occupied by the tab in the packaging shell, reduces the size of the electrochemical device, and improves an energy density of the electrochemical device. The electronic device also achieves a high energy density.

摘要: A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly sealing the case and including a pair of current collector plates. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate having a first substrate tab extending in one direction, a second electrode plate having a second substrate tab extending in another direction, and a separator interposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate. Each of the current collector plates is electrically connected to one of the first substrate tab and the second substrate tab. The current collector plates are laser-welded to the first substrate tab and the second substrate tab, respectively, and a laser welding direction is parallel to a metal processing direction of the corresponding current collector plate.
