    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods to dynamically indicate preference for self-contained slots and slot duration by a user equipment device (UE) in communication with a base station (e.g., a gNB) using a 5G NR radio access technology. A UE may determine to send an indication to a gNB indicating a preference for self-contained slots and slot duration for downlink and/or uplink communications utilizing one or more of the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), and/or acknowledgement messaging (ACK/NACK) for downlink communications, and utilizing one or more of the physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), the PDCCH, and/or the physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) for uplink communications. The configuration of self-contained slots and slot duration for uplink and/or downlink may be based on one or more of average packet size, average packet rate, traffic type and UE processing capabilities.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to handling preemptive data services in cellular wireless transmissions. In some embodiments, a device receives a first downlink control information (DCI) message on resources in a first frequency band, where the first DCI message indicates resources for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. In some embodiments, the device monitors a downlink control channel on a second frequency band, disjoint from the first frequency band. In some embodiments, subsequent to reception of the first DCI message, the detects an indicator in the downlink control channel and reduces the PUSCH transmission in response to the detection.

    Abstract: Inter-cell mobility may include decoding a first radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message received from a first cell. The first RRC reconfiguration message may comprise a first portion of configuration information for performing a cell change to a second cell. A cell change message received from the first cell may be decoded. The cell change message may indicate that a cell change to the second cell is to be performed. A cell change acknowledgment may be encoded for transmission to the second cell. A second RRC reconfiguration message received from the second cell may be decoded. The second RRC reconfiguration message may comprise a second portion of configuration information for performing the cell change to the second cell. The second portion of configuration information may comprise a remaining portion of configuration information to perform the cell change to the second cell.

    Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for sidelink (SL) capability exchange via a PC5 link between first and second UEs for configuring inter-UE coordination (IUC).     Abstract: In 5G/New Radio (NR), sidelink communication refers to a channel for communications directly between devices, e.g., user equipment (UEs), without use of traditional uplink or downlink communication channels. Sidelink Control Information (SCI) is separated into two stages (i.e., SCI stage 1 and SCI stage 2) before being transmitted to configure a user device. A method for configuring sidelink communications for a wireless device includes: obtaining SCI Stage 2 payload information; attaching and distributing cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information to the payload information; performing encoding and rate matching (RM) on the payload information; scrambling the encoded and rate matched payload information; performing modulation on the scrambled payload information; determining a resource mapping for the modulated payload information, wherein the modulated payload information is aggregated across two or more slots (e.g., using different processing operations for at least two slots); and transmitting the modulated payload information according to the determined resource mapping.
