Abstract:
A portable cooling device has a vacuum bottle, a pump, an outflow pipe, a thermal exchanger and a return pipe. The vacuum bottle holds a coolant and has an outer casing and a vacuum flask. The outer casing has a chamber. The vacuum flask is mounted in the chamber. The pump is mounted on the vacuum bottle to pump the coolant out of the vacuum bottle. The outflow pipe connects to the pump. The thermal exchanger connects to the outflow pipe, is filled by the coolant and is placed adjacent to a person to lower his body temperature. The return pipe connects between the thermal exchanger and the vacuum bottle to form a flow circle. Consequently, the portable cooling device efficiently cools the body temperature. Moreover, having the vacuum bottle to hold and insulate the coolant elongates effective cooling time of the cooling device.
Abstract:
A method and device for tracing and locating web service changes during client web service application updating process. The method and device of the present invention could be implemented in a client application development platform of the web service, or in a server of the web service provider, or in a third party independent of the web service user and provider. The present invention locally customizes release notes or online API update guides for each user. A change history of a target web service concerned by user could be locally traced and locally stored, thus users can easily use said change history to update its codes locally.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides an InGaAlN-based semiconductor light-emitting device which comprises an InGaAlN-based semiconductor multilayer structure and a carbon-based substrate which supports InGaAlN-based semiconductor multilayer structure, wherein the carbon-based substrate comprises at least one carbon-based layer. This carbon-based substrate has both high thermal conductivity and low electrical resistivity.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a semiconductor light-emitting device which includes a multi-layer structure. The multilayer structure comprises a first doped layer, an active layer, and a second doped layer. The semiconductor light-emitting device further includes a first Ohmic-contact layer configured to form a conductive path to the first doped layer, a second Ohmic-contact layer configured to form a conductive path to the second doped layer, and a support substrate comprising not less than 15% chromium (Cr) measured in weight percentage.
Abstract:
Increased yields of naphtha and increased catalyst activity are obtained in a hydrocracking process by the use of a catalyst containing a beta zeolite and a Y zeolite having a unit cell size from 24.38 to 24.50 angstrom. The catalyst has a relatively high amount of Y zeolite relative to beta zeolite.
Abstract:
The cloning of a novel PCVII viral genome is described as is expression of proteins derived from the PCVII genome. These proteins can be used in vaccine compositions for the prevention and treatment of PCVII infections, as well as in diagnostic methods for determining the presence of PCVII infections in a vertebrate subject. Polynucleotides derived from the viral genome can be used as diagnostic primers and probes.
Abstract:
Increased yields of LPG and middle distillate products are obtained in a two stage hydrocracking process by the use of a catalyst containing a beta zeolite. In embodiments, the beta zeolite has not been hydrothermally treated or has been hydrothermally treated at a relatively low temperature. In another embodiment, the catalyst contains a relatively low amount of beta zeolite.
Abstract:
External test equipment is used to simulate an internal BIST test, thus enabling the capture or generation of detailed test results. By simulating the BIST test sequence in real time during the test, the external tester may monitor an output from the BIST and determine the exact location of failures when they occur. The external tester may generate a bit fail map indicating whether each memory location passed or failed the BIST test.

Abstract:
The present invention regards IFIX proteins, polypeptides, peptides, and the polynucleotides that encode them. In particular embodiments, the IFIX proteins, polypeptides, and/or peptides comprise tumor suppressive, anti-cell proliferative pro-apoptotic and/or cell cycle arrest-inducing activities. In more particular embodiments, these forms are useful for cancer therapy, particularly when administered in combination with liposomes.
