    Abstract: Improved resource allocation approaches for sidelink communication are provided. In an aspect, a first wireless device may reserve a first resource for a sidelink communication and second resources for retransmissions, respectively, of the sidelink communication, and may transmit the sidelink communication using the first resource. In response to determining to release the second resources, the first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device, a release indication indicating that the second resources are available. In an aspect, a wireless device may receive a first sidelink communication from a transmitting wireless device on a first resource, and may identify second resources reserved respectively for retransmissions of the first sidelink communication. In response to a determination that the second resources are available for a second sidelink communication, the wireless device may report the second resources to a higher layer within the wireless device for resource selection.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for power control indication for multiple services. A base station may transmit scheduling information to a UE indicating first, second, and third open-loop power levels associated with uplink transmissions on a first wireless channel. The base station may select one of the first, second, or third open-loop power levels to be used for a first uplink transmission based on a type of service associated with the first uplink transmission. For example, the first open-loop power level may be associated with enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) services, the second open-loop power level may be a base open-loop power level associated with ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) services, and the third open-loop power level may be a boosted open-loop power level associated with URLLC services. The base station may further transmit open loop power control information to the UE indicating the selected open-loop power level.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a receiving UE may receive an indication of a feedback mode for a set of sidelink or downlink transmissions, and the UE may operate in the indicated feedback mode for the set of sidelink or downlink transmissions. In some examples, the operating modes may include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback, negative acknowledgment only feedback, acknowledgement only feedback, or no feedback. In some examples, a default feedback mode may be configured, and the receiving UE may receive an indication to use a different feedback mode for a given set of sidelink or downlink transmissions. The receiving UE may revert to the default feedback mode after the set of sidelink or downlink transmissions. In some examples, different feedback modes may be associated with different sets of resource pools, semi-persistent scheduling indices, component carriers, or bandwidth parts.
