Abstract:
The present invention provides a control apparatus for automatic sliding doors that can be used with a plurality of door brands and models. The invention includes a control box and an idler pulley mounted to the door header. Both the control box and idler pulley can be mounted on a variety of door models by means of specific header brackets that are configured for each door model. The control box also provides a universal signal interface that can interpret sensor signals from a plurality of door models. A drive belt revolves on the idler pulley and is moved by a motorized pulley controlled by the control box. At least one belt bracket is fastened to the drive belt with a belt clamp, wherein the belt bracket is attached to a sliding door panel. Like the control box and idler pulley, the belt bracket can be used with a variety of door models and is attached to the sliding panel by means of a door bracket that is specific to the door model in question.
Abstract:
A door actuator, in particular the door lock, for rail vehicles, comprising a spindle drive, the spindle of which is connected to a freewheel, permitting rotation in the direction corresponding to the closing of the door and preventing rotation in the direction corresponding to the opening of the door. The part of the freewheel furthest from the spindle is mounted such as to rotate, but with a releasable fixing relative to a release device, achieved by a coupling which may be released by solenoid. The brake, clutch or similar coupling is or may be fixed in the open position and a closing magnet is provided. In a first version, the coupling, is operated by a bar, and between the released position of the bar and the locked position of the bar there is a dead-point. In a second version, the open position is maintained by a permanent magnet.
Abstract:
A spindle or worm drive for adjusting devices, especially seat adjustment devices, window lifters and sliding roofs, in motor vehicles. The drive includes a fixed spindle or relatively fixed toothed rack which is secured to the second of the two parts. The gear elements are mounted in a housing which includes at least two plates that can be secured to each other by plug-in connectors. The connectors are also configured as supporting joints that absorb the forces of the gear.
Abstract:
In a sliding gate (1) mounted on wheels sliding on a straight rail a movement system is provided that comprises a straight rack (2) integral with the gate (1), engaging means (5,105) for engaging the rack (2) to produce the horizontal movement of the gate, and activating means (9) for moving the engaging means (5,105), said engaging means (5,105) comprising a wheel (11,111) having an axis substantially parallel to the horizontal direction of the translation of the gate and having engaging elements (8,108), arranged on its lateral circumferential outer surface, to engage with said rack (2).
Abstract:
A tandem of independent powered door operators for passenger transit vehicles having a central lock mechanism and enabling each of the doors to be moved with a force of less than 80 N. Such door operators can be used on vehicles where the cross-sectional area within which to accommodate a door operator is limited. The door operator comprises an electric motor, a helical drive screw rotatably connected to such electric motor with a universal joint, a drive nut assembly engaged with such drive screw, a door hanger rod, a first door hanger bracket connected to a door and engaging the drive nut, a second door hanger bracket connected to a door and engaging a centrally located lock mechanism enabling locking of such door in a fully close position.
Abstract:
Door operator for opening, closing and locking at least one door panel on a transit vehicle. It has at least one base portion for mounting on the vehicle and at least one fixed support member attached to the base portion(s) . It has door hanger(s) for attachment of the door panel(s) and moveable door support member(s) attached to the door hanger(s). The moveable door support member(s) engage the fixed support member(s) to support the door panel(s) while permitting opening and closing motions of the panel(s) . The operator includes at least one door drive having base mounted portion(s) and hanger mounted portion(s), the hanger mounted portion(s) engaging the base mounted portion(s) to be moved thereby to move the panel(s) in opening and closing direction(s). The operator has a lock for securing the door panel(s) in closed position(s), the lock having a lock shaft which includes at least one primary lock means for preventing motion of the base mounted door drive portion(s) and at least one secondary lock means engaging the door hanger(s). The lock includes a lock shaft engaging means which rotates the lock shaft to a locking position when the door panel(s) are closed. The lock also has an unlocking actuator for unlocking the door panel(s), the unlocking actuator having a moveable portion connected to the lock shaft to rotate the lock shaft to the unlocking position.
Abstract:
A sliding door arrangement with at least one door leaf mounted in a door frame includes a drive for moving the at least one door leaf. The at least one door leaf has a lateral closing edge and a running surface at the lateral closing edge. The door frame has a counter-support surface, wherein, in a closed position of the at least one door leaf, the running surface is located essentially immediately below the counter-support surface and the counter-support surface rests on the running surface for preventing lifting of the door leaf.
Abstract:
Device for connecting a displaceable element, especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device that is guided in a rail. The device includes first and second fixing members which each contain outer panels and fitting, elements which can be interconnected by an axle. The fitting elements are inserted into a cutout section on the edge of the displaceable element and interconnected. The fitting elements encompass a connection screw which can be connected to the guide device, the connection screw having a screw shaft with a screw head, a locking element and a thread. The fitting element of the first fixing member has a channel for receiving the screw shaft, the channel having channel walls, a trough for receiving the screw head and a cavity for receiving the securing element. The locking element can be stopped by a stop screw. The fitting element of the second fixing member has a recess for receiving the channel walls and an opening through which the screw head can be accessed. The assembled device can be adjusted by loosening the stop screws by a few turns and turning the connection screw until the displaceable element is set at the desired height. The stop screws are then re-tightened. The locking element is part of the connection screw and is encompassed in the device so that the top edge of the displaceable element can be drawn practically up to the rail.
Abstract:
A fastener system (210) for adjustably attaching or mounting an automotive vehicle window channel member or guide rail (214) to or upon an automotive vehicle inner door panel (212) so that the automotive vehicle window channel member or guide rail (214) can be disposed at a predetermined position with respect to the automotive vehicle inner door panel (212) includes a nut member (234) mounted upon the inner door panel (212), and a shaft or rod portion (264) of the window channel member or guide rail (214) is inserted through the nut member (234). A tubular fastener screw or bolt (224) is inserted over the shaft or rod portion (264) of the window channel member or guide rail (214) so as to also be inserted within the nut member (234). When the tubular fastener screw or bolt (224) is threadedly engaged with the nut member (234), the tubular fastener screw or bolt (224) is forced to tightly engage the shaft or rod portion (264) of the window channel member or guide rail (214) so as to lockingly retain the window channel member or guide rail (214) at the predetermined position with respect to the automotive vehicle inner door panel (212).
