Abstract:
A method and apparatus for stopping a device-to-device (D2D) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) supporting proximity services (ProSe) stops an on-going D2D operation if at least one of conditions is satisfied. For example, when the UE detects any cell, when the UE finds a suitable cell, when the UE finds an acceptable cell, when the UE enters a connected state, or when the UE initiates radio resource control (RRC) connection establishment procedure, the UE may stops the on-going D2D operation.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for adjusting device-to-device (D2D) timing in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes detecting a signal on a second D2D group, and adjusting D2D timing of the first D2D group based on the detected signal on the second D2D group. The first D2D group includes a first device and a second device which perform D2D operation in the first D2D group, and the second D2D group includes a third device and a fourth device which perform D2D operation in the second D2D group.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for relocating a group owner (GO) of a proximity services (ProSe) group in a wireless communication system is provided. A first user equipment (UE), which is the GO of the ProSe group currently, receives at least one of channel quality of a second UE in the ProSe group or priority of the second UE in the ProSe group, from the second UE. The first UE determines the second UE as a new GO of the ProSe group based on the at least one of the channel quality of the second UE in the ProSe group or priority of the second UE in the ProSe group. Alternatively, the second UE may determine itself as the new GO of the ProSe group if the priority of the second UE in the ProSe group is higher than a priority of the first UE in the ProSe group.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting, by a base station, a signal for compensating for coverage in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus therefor. A method of transmitting, by a base station, a signal for compensating for coverage, comprises: receiving information indicating that a first base station is a base station supporting a multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS), from the first base station in a state enabling switching off; receiving a coverage compensation request message containing MBMS-related information of the first base station from the first base station; and transmitting, by a compensation base station to the first base station, a coverage compensation response message indicating whether it is possible to compensate for the coverage of the first base station, wherein whether it is possible to compensate for the coverage of the first base station is determined on the basis of the MBMS-related information.
Abstract:
Provided are a method by which a terminal processes an emergency call in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus for supporting the same. The method comprises: selecting a cell when a radio link failure (RLF) is generated; transmitting a RRC connection re-establishment request message to the selected cell; stopping an expired timer if a suitable cell or a cell using different radio access technology (RAT) is not selected within a certain time when the RLF is generated in the emergency call process of the terminal and the selected cell is an acceptable cell; and transmitting the RRC connection reestablishment request message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) determines whether transmission of a first random access (RA) preamble to a first node and transmission of a second RA preamble to a second node overlap each other at a specific time duration. If it is determined that the transmission of the first RA preamble and the transmission of the second RA preamble overlap each other, the UE determines whether both the transmission of the first RA preamble and the transmission of the second RA preamble are available at the specific time duration based on an uplink power. If not available, the UE transmits the first RA preamble only at the specific time duration.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for a method for reporting buffer status. The method may comprise: identifying a change of a radio bearer; and triggering a buffer status report (BSR), if the change of the radio bearer is identified.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for establishing a connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) in a connected mode camps on a second cell, transmits a connection request to the second cell, and receives redirection information, which indicates redirection to a first cell or a frequency of the first cell, from the second cell. The UE completes connection with the first cell by transmitting a message.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for reporting multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) information by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: determining whether or not to perform the logging of MBMS information; logging the MBMS information if the logging is determined to be performed; and reporting the logged MBMS information to a network. Whether or not to perform the logging of the MBMS information is determined on the basis of the reception status or provision status of MBMS from the network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for reconfiguring a receiver bandwidth by a UE (User Equipment) in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving a message related to SCell activation or deactivation command; determining whether the receiver bandwidth can be reconfigured before a specific time of a HARQ feedback transmission for the message; and reconfiguring the receiver bandwidth before the HARQ feedback transmission for the message if the receiver bandwidth can be reconfigured before the specific time.
