    Abstract: Position determination for a target user equipment (UE) uses a single base station and a plurality of sidelink UEs with known locations. The base station sends a reference signal to the target UE and sidelink UEs, and the target UE sends sidelink signals to each sidelink UEs. A range-sum for the range between the target UE and sidelink UE and the range between the sidelink UE and the base station can be determined for each sidelink UE, based on the time differences between the reception and transmissions of the reference signals measured by the target UE, and the time difference between reception of the reference signals measured by the sidelink UE. A differential in the range-sums can be determined and used to determine the position of the target UE.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive grouping for cooperative radar sensing. A method for wireless communications by a first network entity includes receiving, from a second network entity, first grouping information comprising an indication of a first plurality of network entities, the first grouping information associated with a first time-period; receiving, from the second network entity, second grouping information comprising an indication of a second plurality of network entities, the second grouping information associated with a second time-period; receiving a first radar signal during the first time-period; receiving a second radar signal during the second time-period; transmitting, to the second network entity, first sensing information based on the first radar signal; and transmitting, to the second network entity, second sensing information based on the second radar signal.

    Abstract: Aspects presented may enable RF sensing to be adaptive to the environment to improve the sensing, performance, and/or the spectrum efficiency of cellular systems and the power efficiency of RF sensing nodes. In one aspect, an RF sensing node extracts one or more features for a set of objects of an area via at least one non-RF sensor. The RF sensing node transmits, to a network entity, the one or more features or at least one non-RF measurement derived from the one or more features. The RF sensing node receives, from the network entity, an RRS transmission configuration derived based on the one or more features or the at least one non-RF measurement transmitted to the network entity.
