    摘要: An electrical plug connector is matable with a pin header and includes a molded plug housing with multiple contact apertures extending between a mating face and a rear face. Angularly spaced ribs extend into the contact receiving aperture to support each contact. Each rib is opposed to molded pawls that are deflectable when a contact is inserted from the rear of the housing. The ribs and the pawls are located at different angularly spaced intervals so that they do not overlap and so that the one piece housing can be molded in a straight pull manner. An annular retaining section on each contact is held between the pawls and the ribs when each contact is fully inserted into a corresponding aperture.

The connector for connecting circuit boards to each other comprises an insulating housing (11) which has a spacer member (12) that is disposed between upper and lower circuit boards (40,41), a conductive member (20) with a substantially C-shaped cross section is attached in a positional relationship such that the conductive member clamps onto the spacer member from above and below and establishes electrical continuity between conductive ground pads of the upper and lower circuit boards in a state in which the conductive member (20) is inserted between the upper and lower circuit boards (40,41), and a fastening means (30) fastens the upper and lower circuit boards to each other.

The assembly is capable of operating at elevated temperatures by utilizing a stainless steel spring member (46) to provide the contact force, since stainless steel maintains its resiliency at high temperatures. The conducting elements (42, 44) are formed of a conductive material which maintains its conductivity over a wide range of temperatures. The assembly holds the conducting elements in a stack so that only a single spring member is required.

    摘要: Electrical connector 10 is used to terminate individual wires 6, 8 in two twisted wire pairs 2, 4. The connector includes an insulated housing with terminals 50 located in terminal receiving cavities 34 in the housing. The terminals 50 are inclined relative to parallel wire receiving channels 34 and paired terminals 50 for terminating individual wires of a the same twisted wire pair, 2 or 4 are spaced closer together than adjacent intermediate terminals associated with different wire pairs. Pairing inclined terminals 50 increases the coupling between wires in the same wire pair and increasing the spacing between terminals of different wire pairs reduces the capacitive cross talk between adjacent wire pairs. High frequency performance of the electrical connector 10 is thereby increased. A central cavity between terminal pairs increases the effective dielectric constant to further reduce crosstalk. Inclining the terminals 50 also allows the relative width of the terminals to be increased so that the strength of the housing 12 can be increased and the retention of the terminals 50 in the housing 12 can be improved.
