摘要: Disclosed is a glass-based flexible cover window with improved strength including a planar portion formed so as to correspond to a planar region of a flexible display and a folding portion formed so as to be connected to the planar portion, the folding portion being formed so as to correspond to a folding region of the flexible display, wherein the flexible cover window includes a glass substrate, an adhesive buffer layer formed on the glass substrate, a protective film layer formed on the adhesive buffer layer, and a hard coating layer formed on the protective film layer. The protective film layer is formed on the glass substrate, whereby strength and folding characteristics of the flexible cover window are improved, and inherent texture of glass is maintained while the overall thickness of the flexible cover window is reduced, and therefore aesthetics of the flexible cover window are improved.

摘要: Proposed is a flexible cover window manufacturing method capable of simultaneously reinforcing a plane part and a folding part by using alkali-based metal ions having an ionic radius smaller than that of alkali-based metal ions contained in a glass. A flexible cover window manufactured using the same method is also proposed. The plane part and the folding part are simultaneously reinforced using alkali-based metal ions having a smaller ionic radius than alkali-based metal ions included in a glass to simplify the process, and the flexible cover window ensures strength and folding characteristics by controlling tensile stress of the entire part of the flexible cover window.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing an antibacterial cover window. The method includes a first step of preparing a substrate, a second step of forming a mask pattern on the substrate through a patterning process, a third step of forming an antibacterial layer on the substrate on which the mask pattern is formed, and a fourth step of removing the mask pattern to obtain an antibacterial pattern formed on the substrate. Through the method, it is possible to produce a cover window with antibacterial patterns regularly and uniformly distributed over the entire area thereof. Thus, the cover window has long-lasting excellent antibacterial property over the entire area thereof.
