摘要: The present invention provides a surface treatment method that improves antimicrobial activity of copper or a copper alloy and enhances immediate effects of antimicrobial actions on the surface of the copper or the copper alloy. A surface treatment method for copper or a copper alloy according to the present invention comprises preparing a reducing agent solution containing a biological reducing substance, and treating the surface of the copper or the copper alloy with the reducing agent solution. The present invention also provides a surface treatment liquid for sterilizing copper or a copper alloy, in which the surface treatment liquid contains a biological reducing substance. The present invention also provides a sterilization method that comprises bringing copper or a copper alloy treated by the surface treatment method into contact with a surface of an object to sterilize the surface of the object.

摘要: In one embodiment, an antibacterial material includes at least one microparticles selected from tungsten oxide microparticles and tungsten oxide complex microparticles. The microparticles, which have undergone a test to evaluate viable cell count by inoculating in a test piece, to which the microparticles are adhered in a range of 0.02 mg/cm2 or more and 40 mg/cm2 or less, at least one bacterium selected from among Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and storing for 24 hours, have an antibacterial activity value R of 0.1 or more expressed by the following: R=log(B1/C1) where, B1 denotes an average value (number) of viable cell count after storing an untreated test piece for 24 hours, and C1 denotes an average value (number) of viable cell count after storing the test piece on which the microparticles are coated for 24 hours.

摘要: An anti-microbial metal coating may be applied to filter membranes for use in actively depressing microbial viability in filtration applications. The anti-microbial metal coating may be applied to substrates that are considered to be sensitive to damage by conventional metal coating techniques or resistant to metal bonding. The coating may be applied from a salt absorbed to the substrate in solution, converted to a reducible form with a conversion agent, and reduced to active metal format through a low temperature plasma treatment.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a functional material which is prepared by using aluminum as a base material and has a bactericidal effect; and a method for producing the functional material. The functional material comprises an aluminum base material and a functional film which is a hydrated aluminum oxide film formed on the surface of the aluminum base material. The functional film has nano-order depressions and protrusions formed on the surface thereof and, as a result, the functional film can have a bactericidal effect to kill bacteria. The functional material is produced by subjecting an aluminum base material to a boiling treatment in boiled water for a predetermined treatment time to form, on the surface of the aluminum base material, a hydrated aluminum oxide film having nano-order depressions and protrusions formed on the surface thereof.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing an antibacterial cover window. The method includes a first step of preparing a substrate, a second step of forming a mask pattern on the substrate through a patterning process, a third step of forming an antibacterial layer on the substrate on which the mask pattern is formed, and a fourth step of removing the mask pattern to obtain an antibacterial pattern formed on the substrate. Through the method, it is possible to produce a cover window with antibacterial patterns regularly and uniformly distributed over the entire area thereof. Thus, the cover window has long-lasting excellent antibacterial property over the entire area thereof.
