摘要: Embodiments of a deadfront article are provided. The deadfront article includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. The deadfront article also includes a semi-transparent layer disposed onto the second surface of the substrate. The semi-transparent layer has a region of a solid color or of a design of two or more colors, and the semi-transparent layer has a first optical density. Further, the deadfront article includes a contrast layer disposed onto the region. The contrast layer is configured to enhance visibility of the color(s) of the semi-transparent layer.

摘要: A method for processing a transparent cover plate for a flat body includes the following steps of providing the transparent cover plate having an outer side and an opposite inner side, wherein the transparent cover plate includes a structured area with a light-scattering structure, forming of at least one optical interference layer on a cover plate side including applying a mask to the transparent cover plate, wherein the mask does not cover a first area of a cover plate surface and covers a second area of the cover plate side, and the first area and the second area are arranged to overlap the structured area, the at least one optical interference layer is applied in overlap with the mask, and removing of the mask, whereby the at least one optical interference layer is also removed.

The present disclosure further provides a manufacturing device and manufacturing method of manufacturing the glass housing.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a method for producing a coated glass article may include applying an anti-reflective coating onto a glass substrate. The glass substrate may include a first major surface, and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The anti-reflective coating may be applied to the first major surface of the glass substrate. A substrate thickness may be measured between the first major surface and the second major surface. The glass substrate may have an aspect ratio of at least about 100:1. The coated glass article may have a reflectance of less than 2% for all wavelengths from 450 nanometers to 700 nanometers. The anti-reflective coating may include one or more layers. The cumulative layer stress of the anti-reflective coating may have an absolute value less than or equal to about 167,000 MPa nm.

摘要: A method and product produced by the method for forming an interactive information device with a conductively coated panel includes forming a reduced contrast increased light transmitting, conductively coated panel by providing a transparent substrate and applying a transparent, conductive layer on at least one surface of the substrate in a predetermined pattern with at least one area having a conductive layer thereon and a second area without a conductive layer. The method further includes applying a transparent layer of a metal oxide such that the metal oxide layer, such as silicon dioxide, overlies both areas whereby visible contrast between the areas is reduced and light transmission through the coated panel is increased. The coated panel is then attached to an electro-optic display for displaying information when electricity is applied thereto.

The metalloxane compound (B) has at least one metal atom selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Sn, Si, and Al in its main chain. Preferably, the metal salt (A1) is a carboxylate containing a metal selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ag, and Ni. Preferably, the metal particle (A2) has an average particle diameter of 5 nm to 100 nm and comprises a metal selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ag, and Ni.
