Abstract:
Paper sheets are fed through a printing machine by a compact apparatus including a feeding mechanism having a paper-fetching gear set, a toothed bar meshed with the gear set, a motor driving the feeding mechanism, a paper tray, a support shaft axially coupled to the paper tray, a lifting member pivotally coupled to the shaft and an actuator for driving the lifting member to move either towards or away from the paper fetching gear set.
Abstract:
A composite legal type bicycle frame is disclosed which contains a front frame portion and a rear frame portion. The front frame portion contains a central main and a plurality of legs for connecting the central main with various components of the bicycle, and the rear frame portion contains a rear fork, which consists of a left rear branch and a right rear branch. The left and right rear branches are first cured and glued together at respective abutting surfaces thereof to form an integral rear fork before they are adjoined with the front frame portion, via prepregs and using a cocuring procedure. The left and right rear branches are formed to contain cross-shaped matching protrusion and recess, respectively, on the abutting surfaces thereof, so as to enhance the integrity of the integral rear fork. As a result, a great flexibility of design options can be obtained. For example, the rear fork can be connected to one of the legs but not to the central main. Also, the front frame portion can be designed such that one of the legs is connected indirectly to the central main via another leg, and not directly connected to the central main.
Abstract:
An umbrella having a light source mounted inside the umbrella handle and controlled by a slide switch to give off light through a refractor around the umbrella shaft, wherein the umbrella shaft is a transparent, solid, polygonal rod having a refracting area for refracting the light of the light source toward the ribs and umbrella cover of the umbrella.
Abstract:
A method of molding a composite bicycle frame that includes the steps of curing a pair of seat stays and chain stays respectively and then connecting with the front triangle. Non-foaming dilatable materials are provided at suitable locations in the mold, such as the steering support cavity, the pedal support cavity, the seat stay butting cavity and the chain stay butting cavity. By heating the mold once, the seat stays and chain stays will secure with the front triangle and the front triangle can be cured at the same time to simplify the mold and the process.

Abstract:
A biochemical labeling material and manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method provides a plurality of nanoparticles, bonding the nanoparticles to template molecules by molecular imprinting, polymerizing the nanoparticles to form a matrix with uniformly-distributed template molecules, finally removing the template molecules from the matrix to reveal a detection group of the matrix, leaving a cavity with specific area.
Abstract:
A method for forming a superparamagnetic nanoparticle. The method includes providing an aqueous solution comprising Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions and adding alkali to the aqueous solution. An iron oxide nanoparticle is formed by subjecting the aqueous solution to ultrasonic vibration and collected.
Abstract:
A process for preparing silica-based organic-inorganic hybrid resin using sol-gel process. Phenol is used as catalyst to reduce the gel time of the sol-gel process and cyclosiloxane is used as modifier to increase the toughness of the resultant inorganic-organic hybrid resin.
Abstract:
An automatic paper feeder including an upper light source comprises of a paper tray for holding a plurality of scanning documents, a base frame for mounting on the scanning platform of a scanner, a channel for guiding the scanning document to move along a desired direction and path, an upper light source, a transmission unit for picking up and moving the scanning document, a control unit for controlling the transmission unit and the upper light source, and a cable for wiring the automatic paper feeder to the scanner. The paper feeder enables the scanner to perform paper-feeding type scanning at high scanning efficiency. Beside providing automatic single page feeding, the automatic paper feeder also able to perform transparency scanning through its upper light source. The scanner equips with this automatic paper feeder thus able to perform dual function of reflective type and transparency scanning.
