    摘要: A thermosensitive nanostructure for hyperthermia treatment. Magnetic nanoparticles are encapsulated in a thermosensitive polymer nanostructure having a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of about 40-45° C. The thermosensitive polymer nanostructure may carry a drug. When the magnetic nanoparticles are heated to 40-45° C. by application of an alternating magnetic field in hyperthermia treatment, the thermosensitive polymer nanostructure collapses to release the drug, thus providing concurrent drug treatment.

    摘要: A method of updating firmware of a circuit module includes providing a switch for selectively connecting the circuit module to a computing system and an update module. The circuit module enters a reset mode and an input/output pin of the circuit module switches to an input mode in response to power being supplied to the circuit module. The input/output pin is pulled to a first digital logic value, which controls the switch to connect the circuit module to the update module. While the circuit module is in the reset mode, the circuit module receives updated firmware from the update module. Then the circuit module enters a normal operation mode and switches the input/output pin to an output mode for outputting a second digital logic value. When the input/output pin outputs the second digital logic value, the input/output pin controls the switch to connect the circuit module to the computing system.

A bulb is installed in each light shade. An infrared detector is disposed in each detector head for detecting alien article within a detection range and lighting up the bulb. Each light shade and detector head is disposed with at least one shifting mechanism for freely changing operation position. The light shades and the detector heads on the base seat are able to detect in different directions at the same time to provide a warning and illumination function in the case of intrusion of alien article.

    摘要: An ornamental artificial fountain apparatus according to the invention includes a water basin, in which a peripherally extending annular water pipe with a plurality of nozzles is provided at a decent level. The inclination angles of nozzles are adjustable. Inside the water basin there is installed a guide pole in which a control mechanism is provided to regulate the water stream flowing through the guide pole and its spreading area. A multiple-port joint connects the pump with the annular water pipe and the guide pole by its two side branch pipes. By means of a cock on the multiple-port joint, the water flow entering the annular water pipe and the guide pole can be tuned at will. Moreover, along with the ascent and descent of a canopy of the guide pole as well as nozzles of assorted inclination angles, the apparatus can generate varying water streams and water curtains.
