    Abstract: A manual override assembly for a hydraulic power source operates to override an actuator of a hydraulic power source. The assembly includes a lever arm and connecting rods. The lever arm pivotally moves relative to a valve body of the hydraulic power source. The lever arm is connected to valve spools via the connecting rods, respectively. Each spool has a bore with an off-set opening for inserting one end of the connecting rod.

    Abstract: A valve plate for a fluid pump includes a body having a first surface and an oppositely disposed second surface. The body defines a first kidney slot that extends through the first and second surfaces and a second kidney slot that extends through the first and second surfaces. A first notch is disposed in the first surface of the body and extends outwardly from the first kidney slot in a direction toward the second kidney slot. A second notch is disposed in the first surface and extends outwardly from the first kidney slot in a direction toward the second kidney slot. The second notch is separated from the first notch.

    Abstract: A pump control assembly for controlling a variable displacement hydraulic pump includes a spool mounted within a valve block. The spool is configured to move between a first and a second position within the valve block so as to selectively control the displacement of the attached pump. The pump control assembly further includes first and second chambers that each apply a force to opposite ends of the spool. The first chamber is positioned at a first end of the spool in fluid communication with a pump output port. The second chamber is positioned at a second end of the spool and in fluid communication with a hydraulic tank port and a proportional pressure reducing valve. The second chamber also includes a piston and first and second springs positioned on either side of the piston. The proportional pressure reducing valve provides a regulated pressure to a first side of the piston along with the first spring, and the hydraulic tank port provides a tank pressure on the opposite side of the piston along with the second spring. The pump control assembly also includes a stop structure having a positive stop that limits movement of the piston in a direction toward the first chamber.

    Abstract: An energy conserving hydraulic system for a mobile work machine includes a prime mover, a drivetrain, a baseline hydraulic system, a power-take-off, a transformer, a work implement, and an accumulator. The drivetrain may include an automated manual transmission (AMT) that is rotationally coupled to the prime mover and the power-take-off. The baseline hydraulic system is powered by the prime mover and includes a first hydraulic circuit. The transformer is hydraulically coupled to second and third hydraulic circuits. The work implement is actuated by an actuator that is adapted to be simultaneously hydraulically coupled to the first and the second hydraulic circuits. The power-take-off is adapted to exchange shaft power with the transmission. A clutch selectively rotationally couples the transmission and the power-take-off. The accumulator is hydraulically coupled to the second hydraulic circuit. The second hydraulic circuit is hydraulically coupled to a first rotating group of the hydraulic transformer, and a third hydraulic circuit is hydraulically coupled to a second rotating group of the hydraulic transformer.
