摘要: A laminated film which has a coating layer and inorganic thin-film layer on one surface of a base material film, and which is characterized by satisfying requirements (a) to (d): (a) The base material film contains a polyester resin that has been chemically recycled from PET bottles. (b) The surface hardness of the laminated film on the inorganic thin-film layer surface is 120 N/mm2 or less. (c) The coefficient of static friction us and the coefficient of dynamic friction μd of the inorganic thin-film layer surface/opposite-side surface of the laminated film are both within the range of 0.20 to 0.40. (d) The arithmetic mean roughness Ra across a 2 μm square on the laminated film is within the range of 2.0 to 6.0 nm.

摘要: Disclosed are functional materials for use in additive manufacturing (AM). The functional material can comprise an elastomeric composition (e.g., a silicone composite) for use in, for example, direct ink writing. The elastomeric composition can include an elastomeric resin, and a magnetic nanorod filler dispersed within the elastomeric resin. Nanorod characteristics (e.g., length, diameter, aspect ratio) can be selected to create 3D-printed constructs with desired mechanical properties along different axes. Furthermore, since nickel nanorods are ferromagnetic, the spatial distribution and orientation of nanorods within the continuous phase can be controlled with an external magnetic field. This level of control over the nanostructure of the material system offers another degree of freedom in the design of functional parts and components with anisotropic properties. Magnetic fields can be used to remotely sense compression of the constructs, or alternatively, control the stiffness of these materials.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a three-dimensional modeled article having high dimensional precision, high strength, and high ductility, and a resin composition for a three-dimensional modeled article, the resin composition being used to fabricate the three-dimensional modeled article, and of providing a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional modeled article. To address this problem, a resin composition for a three-dimensional modeled article according to the present invention contains resin particles having a continuous phase including a thermoplastic resin, and a dispersed phase including a thermoplastic elastomer, dispersed in the continuous phase, the amount of the thermoplastic elastomer therein being 1-12 parts by mass with respect to a total of 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin and the thermoplastic elastomer.

摘要: Described herein are methods and compositions for forming three-dimensional objects via material jetting processes, the methods including the repeated steps of selectively depositing a liquid thermoset material onto a surface from a nozzle of at least one jetting head in a first specified direction and exposing at least a portion of the liquid thermoset material to a source of actinic radiation in order to form a three-dimensional object from the cured thermoset material, wherein the jetting head is configured to eject droplets of the liquid thermoset material from the nozzle at prescribed elevated operating temperatures, and wherein the liquid thermoset material is chosen so as to possessing prescribed viscosity and rheological characteristics.

摘要: A method for preparing a compact of resin compound comprising the following steps (a) to (c): (a) a preparation step of mounting a sheet-shaped or block-shaped compact of resin compound including a resin composition, which contains a filler having magnetic anisotropy and is solidified by curing or by being advanced to a B-stage, on a transportation unit which is movable in the horizontal direction, and covering at least a top surface of the compact of resin compound with a cover material; (b) a step of applying a magnetic field to the compact of resin compound obtained in the step (a) with a bulk superconductor magnet having a central magnetic flux density of 1 T or more; and (c) a step of moving the compact of resin compound in the horizontal direction and scanning it while applying vibrations to the compact of resin compound mounted on a region of a central part of the bulk superconductor magnet under application of a magnetic field.

摘要: Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions, methods for producing TPU compositions, methods of using TPU compositions, and apparatuses produced therefrom are disclosed. Disclosed TPU compositions include a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer, a heat stabilizer, a flow agent, and a filler material. The filler may be a glass fiber. Disclosed TPU compositions have improved thermal stability and improved flow properties suitable for injection molding of articles of manufacture having a large plurality of fine openings or pores. Articles produced from the composition have superior thermal stability, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance. Example articles include screening members for vibratory screening machines.
