Abstract: A radar apparatus includes: a transmitting antenna including a first antenna and a second antenna that transmit transmission waves; a signal processor configured to determine a mounted state of the radar apparatus on the vehicle; and a phase adjuster that adjusts at least one of phases of transmission signals output to the first antenna and the second antenna of the transmitting antenna. The signal processor controls the phase adjuster to adjust the at least one of the phases of the transmission signals based on the mounted state determined by the signal processor.

Abstract: A radar apparatus derives (i) first target information of a first target existing in the transmission range of the transmission wave, the first target being a rear end portion of a vehicle and (ii) second target information of a second target existing in the transmission range of the transmission wave, the second target being a portion of the vehicle other than the rear end portion of the vehicle. The radar apparatus calculates a distance difference between the first target and the second target, and predicts, in a case where the first target information of the first target derived in a previous target information derivation process is not derived in a latest target information derivation process, a position of the first target, using the distance difference and the second target information of the second target derived in the latest target information derivation process.

Abstract: An information processing device according to an embodiment includes a memory and a mediation unit. The memory includes memory use areas that are allocated to respective tasks, and an identification-information area that identifies the tasks. The mediation unit mediates writing and reading, by one of the tasks, into and from one of the memory use areas. When accepting a request of the writing and reading from the one task, the mediation unit writes one of the identification informations corresponding to the one task into the identification-information area, further reads information memorized in the identification-information area at a predetermined timing, and detects an abnormality in the memory on the basis of the read information.

Abstract: A first roof extends over and covers an area above an aperture through which an input connector is accessible, so as to receive water drops flowing down along a side surface of a case. A first reinforcement reinforces a fixture by which the case is fixed to a fixed surface. The first roof and the first reinforcement are a single piece of material. Thus, since the first roof and the first reinforcement are the single piece of material, if the first roof is provided to the case, there is no need to form the first roof and the first reinforcement separately. Therefore, it is possible to prevent generation of additional mold production cost and material cost for the first roof.

Abstract: An image generation apparatus includes an image processor and a detector. The image processor generates a composite image viewed from at least one virtual viewpoint, and outputs the generated composite image to a display. The detector detects an indication of a driver intention to drive the host vehicle to a right or to a left relative to a travelling direction of the host vehicle. The image processor generates the composite image viewed from a virtual viewpoint located in front of the host vehicle in the travelling direction, the composite image showing a lateral surface of the host vehicle on a side corresponding to the detected indication of the driver intention. Thus, it is possible to make it easier to check a situation at a time of a right turn, a left turn, or a travelling direction change.

Abstract: A driving assistance system includes a history storage unit, a behavior detecting unit, a state determining unit, and a notifying unit. The history storage unit stores a behavior history which is a past behavior history of a driver. The behavior detecting unit detects a current behavior of the driver. If the state determining unit determines the unsafe state, the notifying unit gives notification to the driver.

Abstract: A speaker includes a first vibrator, a first driving unit, a second vibrator, a second driving unit and a supporting unit.
