Abstract: In the present embodiment, the energy storage apparatus includes: an energy storage device; a terminal member adjacent to the energy storage device; and a restraint member fixed to the terminal member. The restraint member includes a first portion that extends along the energy storage device in an arrangement direction in which the energy storage device and the terminal member are arranged, a second portion that extends along the terminal member in a direction intersecting the arrangement direction and is fixed to the terminal member, and a connection that connects ends of the first portion and the second portion to each other. The connection includes a plurality of bent portions or curved portions.

Abstract: An energy storage apparatus includes an energy storage device including an electrode terminal, an outer case accommodating the energy storage device, and a first plate-shaped member. The outer case includes a bottom wall portion which is a wall portion on an installation surface side where the energy storage apparatus is installed. The first plate-shaped member is disposed inside the outer case, and is disposed at an end portion of the energy storage device in a first direction which is an arrangement direction of the energy storage device and the bottom wall portion. The energy storage device is disposed in a posture where the electrode terminal is directed in a second direction which is a direction intersecting with the first direction and extending along the bottom wall portion. The first plate-shaped member includes a first protruding portion which protrudes more than the energy storage device in the second direction.

Abstract: A battery management device manages an energy storage device to which a shunt resistor is connected. The battery management device includes: a current measurement unit that measures a current flowing through the shunt resistor using a pair of signal wires connected to both ends of the shunt resistor; a connecting wire that connects the signal wire to a reference potential source via an opening/closing switch; and a determination unit that determines presence or absence of a failure in which connection between the pair of signal wires via the shunt resistor becomes defective based on a change in current measured by the current measurement unit when the opening/closing switch is opened and closed.

Abstract: An estimation apparatus that estimates a degradation amount of an energy storage device includes: a storage unit; and an arithmetic processing unit. The energy storage device has a characteristic of including a first degradation area in which a temporal transition of a degradation amount shows a first transition and a second degradation area in which the temporal transition of the degradation amount shows a second transition. The storage unit holds first arithmetic data for calculating the degradation amount in the first degradation area, and second arithmetic data for calculating the degradation amount in the second degradation area. The arithmetic processing unit executes determination processing of determining a degradation area of the energy storage device, and estimation processing of selecting arithmetic data corresponding to the degradation area from the storage unit to estimate the degradation amount of the energy storage device.
