Abstract:
An underground power cable having an optical fiber sensor for measuring temperature distribution is disclosed. In the power cable, an optical fiber for measuring temperature distribution is received in a stainless steel tube having excellent strength, and this optical tube is interposed between a core and a sheath of the power cable. When arranging the optical tube in the power cable, a supporting material having a relatively low strength than the optical tube is arranged in the cable together in order to prevent the optical fiber from being damaged by external force and prevent the inner insulation layer from being broken down by the optical tube. In addition, a fixing tape for fixing the optical tube in contact with the core may be added to prevent the optical tube from being bent seriously or inclined to one side when the cable is bent.

Provided is a method for magnifying an image by interpolation. The method including: a) setting m×m local windows and calculating a direction of each m×m local window; b) when a linear direction exists in an m×m local window, considering an edge exists; c) when a linear direction does not exist in the m×m local window, dividing the m×m local window into m/2×m/2 sub windows and calculating directions of the m/2×m/2 sub windows; d) when the directions of the m/2×m/2 sub windows exists toward the center of the m×m local window, considering a corner exists in the m×m local window; and e) selecting pixels located in a virtual line that goes along in the linear direction or in the directions to calculate a new pixel value by using the pixels.

The present invention relates to a high strength polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate fiber produced by a method comprising controlling the stress-strain curve and fine structure of an undrawn yarn such that the drawability of the undrawn yarn in a drawing step is improved. The industrial polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate fiber with high strength according to the present invention shows high strength and low shrinkage, and a treated cord formed from this fiber has improved dimensional stability and high strength, such that it can be advantageously employed as a fibrous reinforcement material of rubber products such as tires.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a silane oligomer for immobilizing a physiological material that is prepared by copolymerizing an aminosilane compound with a cyclic siloxane oligomeric compound. The present invention can preserve the immobilization layer by applying a silane oligomer. Further, the immobilization layer has a three-dimensional structure and thus has superior thermal stability and reagent resistance.

The present invention relates to a stepping motor. The stepping motor includes a rotor having a cylindrical magnet with a plurality of N-S poles being radially magnetized thereto and a shaft having one end coupled to the center of the magnet and rotationally supported by bearings; at least one coil wound into the shape of a ring at axial sides of the magnet with air gaps; and a stator shaped as a cylinder with a shaft hole in the center for receiving the coil, the stator having an outer yoke which is arranged concentric with the magnet and has an outer circumferential edge extendedly branched at the same interval to form first pole teeth which are opposedly arranged on the outer circumferential face of the magnet with an air gap therefrom, and an inner yoke with one end of smaller diameter being inserted into the inner circumferential face of the coil and the other end of larger diameter extendedly branched while covering the side of the coil to form second pole teeth which are alternately arranged with the first pole teeth.

A hot-plug controller of PCI (Peripheral Components Interconnects) bus using single chip is disclosed. A PCI hot-plug controller using FPGA and ASIC implements all functions necessary for the PCI hot-plug on a single chip, the PCI hot-plug controller includes: System Interface Unit transmitting data via PCI, USB and I2C bus; Register Unit, which is connected to the System Interface Unit, and receives reset control signal, Present Detection signal, Enable signal, LED control signal and physical ID signal from the outside, and stores the signals; Power Control Unit reading data from the Register Unit and outputting signal to control the system power and slot power; and Bus Isolation Unit reading the control signal from the Register Unit and making the signal-line between PCI bus signal and PCI slot ON/OFF.

The present invention relates to a feeding assistant robot, which assists in feeding patients or the elderly and infirm who have difficulty in moving their arms and thus have difficulty in feeding themselves. The feeding assistant robot includes: a picking arm including a gripper for picking up food placed on a tray; a feeding arm, including a spoon on which the food picked up by the picking arm is placed, for moving the spoon to the mouth of a user; an input device enabling the user to direct the movements of the picking arm and of the feeding arm; and a control unit electrically connected to the picking arm, the feeding arm, and the manipulation part to control the movements of the picking arm and the feeding arm according to the commands from the input device.
