Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for providing/receiving a service from a plurality of service providers. In the method, in order to receive a service from a plurality of Internet protocol television (IPTV) service providers, a client receives information regarding at least one of a feed that syndicates web information and a web-based application from a server of a service provider selected from the IPTV service providers. Then, the client requests the server to provide a service providing at least one of the feed and the application based on the received information, and receives the service from the server. Accordingly, it is possible to provide or receive web-based services via an IPTV network.

Abstract: Techniques herein prepare an alloy catalyst using a protective conductive polymer coating. More particularly, an alloy catalyst is prepared by: preparing a platinum catalyst supported on carbon; coating the surface of the platinum catalyst with a conductive polymer; supporting a transition metal salt on the coated catalyst; and heat treating the catalyst on which the transition metal salt is supported. Also, an alloy catalyst may be prepared by: preparing a platinum-transition metal catalyst supported on carbon; coating the surface of the platinum-transition metal catalyst with a conductive polymer; and heat treating the coated catalyst. Accordingly an alloy catalyst with superior dispersity can be prepared by increasing the degree of alloying of the catalyst through heat treatment while preventing the increase of catalyst particle size through carbonization of the conductive polymer. The prepared catalyst may be useful, for example, for a fuel cell electrode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymer blend electrolyte membrane comprising an inorganic polymer having polydimethylsiloxane as a main chain, which has a pore structure at both ends formed by condensation reaction between 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and tetraethylorthosilicate, wherein phosphoric acid is chemically linked to an amino group of the pore structure; and a proton-conducting polymer having a cation exchange group at the side chain thereof, as well as a manufacturing method thereof. Generally, proton-conducting electrolyte membranes have significantly reduced ion conductivity at high temperatures. However, proton-conducting electrolyte membranes have advantages in terms of efficiency and cost, and thus it is needed to develop an electrolyte membrane, which has excellent ion conductivity even at high temperature. Accordingly, the present invention aims to provide a polymer blend electrolyte membrane for use at high temperature and a manufacturing method thereof.
