摘要: An image compression method is provided which uses a wavelet transform technique to generate transform coefficients relating to an input image. Furthermore, the method generates and encodes an efficient tree structure of the transform coefficients by performing the following steps. First, transform coefficients are obtained by transforming an input image in accordance with the wavelet transforming technique. Then, a quantizing interval which minimizes quantization errors is determined for a predetermined step size and is determined according to statistical characteristics of the input image. Then, a simple tree structure is generated based on the transform coefficients, and such tree structure is modified by using statistical characteristics of the transform coefficients to produce a monotonically decreasing tree structure. The resultant tree structure is modified by limiting a maximum height difference between parent nodes and child nodes of the tree structure to produce the tree list. In addition, the transform coefficients may be quantized based on the quantizing interval to produce quantized transform coefficients, and the modified tree list and the quantized transform coefficients may be arithmeticlly coded.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a pressure container having opposite dome ends with different opening diameters, comprising double-stepped windings involving a primary winding carried out at a small winding angle in a polar winding manner, for forming a primary form on a mandrel provided with bosses having different diameters and a secondary winding carried out at a large winding angle in a helical winding manner, for forming a secondary form on the primary form. The polar winding is carried out under the condition that a metal inserter having a diameter similar to that of the smaller boss is mounted to the larger boss, to be protruded axially outwardly of the larger boss. The helical winding is carried out under the condition that an inserter having a diameter similar to that of the larger boss is mounted to the smaller boss, to be protruded axially outwardly of the smaller boss

摘要: Embodiments for forming elastic images in an ultrasound system are disclosed. In one embodiment, a Tx/Rx unit repeatedly transmits/receives an ultrasound beam along scan lines in a target object to output receive signals. An image processing unit forms a plurality of consecutive ultrasound images based on the receive signals and set a center of the target object on each of the ultrasound images. The image processing unit further sets radial scan lines in radial directions with respect to the center on each of the ultrasound image and reconstructs the ultrasound images such that the radial scan lines are in parallel with each other to form reconstruction images. An elastic image forming unit forms an elastic image based on the reconstruction images.

摘要: There are disclosed embodiments for forming an enhanced elastic image in an ultrasound system. An elastic image of a target object may be formed by scanning N scan lines. A control unit divides the N scan lines into M scan lines groups by using an acquisition period necessary for transmitting and receiving ultrasound signals to acquire ultrasound data. An ultrasound data acquiring unit transmits ultrasound signals to a target object and receives the ultrasound signals reflected from the target object at a predetermined transmission/reception sequence for each of the M scan line groups. This forms ultrasound data corresponding to each of the M scan line groups while a pressure is applied to the target object. An elastic image forming unit forms at least one sub elastic image corresponding to each of the M scan line groups based on the ultrasound data. The elastic forming unit sums M sub elastic images corresponding to the respective M scan line groups to thereby form an elastic image of the target object.

摘要: It relates to a method for removing a surfactant, organic materials and chlorine ions remained on the surface of metal nanoparticles, prepared on an organic solvent phase including a surfactant. The method for cleaning metal nanoparticles herein is efficient to remove organic materials or chlorine ions remained on the surface of the nanoparticles. Not less than 90% of impurities may be removed by this method. As a result, the thickness of a multi layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) can be reduced and a packing factor can be improved so that it allows thinner multi layer ceramic capacitors and improved utilities of metal nanoparticles as fuel cell catalysts, hydrogenation reaction catalysts, alternative catalysts of platinum (Pt) in chemical reactions and the like.
