摘要: A photoelectric conversion device having electric conversion cells capable of performing a store operation, a read operation and a refresh operation. In the store operation, a potential of a control electrode region of a semiconductor transistor is controlled using a capacitor and carriers are stored, which carriers have been generated by light excitation at the control electrode region. In the read operation, a signal under control of a voltage generated by the stored carriers is read out of a main electrode area of the semiconductor transistor. In the refresh operation, carriers stored in the control electrode region are removed. A semiconductor region of the same conductivity type as the main electrode region, is formed in the control electrode region separately from the main electrode region.

摘要: A hanger for hanging a container in an inverted position, and the combination of the hanger and the container. The container has a ring member on the bottom thereof with a pair of semi-circular hanger members lying along and spaced from the inner peripheral edge thereof in the plane of the ring member when in the non-use condition of the hanger. The semi-circular hanger members have the ends integrally attached to the inner peripheral edge of the ring member at substantially diametrically opposite points of the ring member. A transverse hanger member is attached to and extends between substantially the midpoints of the semi-circular hanger members transverse to a line between the points at which the semi-circular hanger members are integrally attached to the ring member, and the transverse hanger member lies in the plane of the ring member in the non-use condition of the hanger. All of the members are made of a flexible synthetic resin material, and the integral attachments of the semi-circular hanger members to the ring member and the transverse hanger member to the semi-circular hanger members are flexible and permit the members to hinge relative to each other. In use, the semi-circular hanger members are pivoted upwardly out of the plane of the ring member and the transverse hanger member is looped upwardly for hooking over a laterally extending support member or hook.

摘要: Film of a known refractive index whose thickness is to be measured is illuminated by a white light beam. Two wave fronts from both sides of the film are directed to an interferometer. The wave fronts are out of phase in accordance with the thickness of the film. The two wave fronts are amplitude-split, respectively, by the beam splitter of the interferometer. Two of the split wave fronts are tilted by tilting means in the interferometer. The other two split wave fronts, as well as the two tilted wave fronts, are directed to an interference surface. Thus, there is formed a white interference pattern on the interference surface. The white interference pattern has a middle peak and two side peaks. The space interval between these peaks is measured by a scanner. By knowing the peak-to-peak interval, it is possible to discriminate the space interval between both sides of the film.

摘要: A hybrid mechanism whereby hardware acceleration is combined with software such that the compression rate achieved is significantly increased while maintaining the original compression ratio (e.g., using full DHT and not SHT or an approximation). The compression acceleration mechanism is applicable to a hardware accelerator tightly coupled with the general purpose processor. The compression task is divided and parallelized between hardware and software wherein each compression task is split into two acceleration requests: a first request that performs SHT encoding using hardware acceleration and provides post-LZ frequency statistics; and a second request that performs SHT decoding and DHT encoding using the DHT generated in software.

摘要: Various embodiments are provided to reduce a processing time taken when plural bit lengths each assigned to plural strings are converted into plural codes. In one exemplary embodiment, in response to input of the plurality of bit lengths, a number of strings assigned each of the bit lengths, a bit length assigned to each of the strings, and a sequence number of each string in a group of strings assigned each of the bit lengths are recorded. A plurality of base codes are generated on the basis of the numbers of the strings recorded by the recording unit, the base codes each being a code used as a base for codes having the same one of the bit lengths. A plurality of codes is generated by performing in parallel a plurality of processes respectively for the plurality of strings.
