    摘要: A PWM inverter includes a plurality of arms connected in parallel with a d.c. power source. Each arm is constituted by an upper arm and a lower arm each having a switching element. A plurality of switching control signals are continuously and alternately applied to one and the other of the two switching elements constituting the same arm respectively. In the PWM inverter, shunt resistors are connected between a minus terminal of the d.c. power source and the lower arms respectively. The PWM inverter further comprises a waveform command generating circuit generating commands representative of current waveforms to be supplied to a load, a carrier wave generating circuit and sample-hold circuits. Each of the sample-hold circuits samples and holds a terminal voltage of the associated shunt resistor in synchronism with the period of the carrier wave generated from the carrier wave generating circuit and at specific timing in a conduction period of the associated switching element.

    摘要: A counter is provided to count an output pulse which a pulse generator generates each time a vehicle moves by a predetermined distance. A microprocessor is provided to actuate a timer in synchronism with the leading edges of the output pulse from the pulse generator. The timer is set to a constant time interval during which the speed of the vehicle is to be detected. The microprocessor calculates the speed of the vehicle from the count of the counter which count is a value during the time interval from when the timer starts to operate to when the pulse generator generates a pulse just before or after the end point of the set time interval. Thus, the speed of the vehicle can be detected with good resolution and precision.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a rotation type magnetic storage device such as a magnetic disc device in which each of record tracks is composed of plural sectors, is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a memory for storing control information of address and the like of the sector to be accessed on a rotating recording medium and comparator means for comparing successively the control information read out from the sector of the rotating recording medium with the control information read out from the memory. In accordance with the output signal from the comparator, the sector of the rotating medium to be accessed is detected. The rotation type magnetic storage device having different sector formats can be controlled by altering correspondingly the control information stored in said memory.

    摘要: At least one caisson which is part or all of a breakwater forms a water chamber therein whose closure is a pendulum having a natural period in rocking or oscillating the same as a period of stationary wave surges caused in the water chamber by rocking movement of the pendulum owing to wave force impinging against the pendulum. At least one double-acting piston and cylinder assembly is connected to the pendulum, so that when a piston of the assembly is reciprocatively moved by the pendulum, pressure difference between cylinder chambers on both sides of the piston of the assembly controls a change-over valve which in turn controls hydraulic pressure discharged from the cylinder chambers to be supplied to a plurality of hydraulic motors respectively having accumulators of a type wherein accumulated pressure and volume of the hydraulic liquid are proportional to each other, whereby driving a common generator alternately by the hydraulic motors.

The first case has a surface arranged to contact the heat-generating component. The second case forms a pump chamber between the first case and the second case. The pump chamber stores the coolant therein. The impeller includes open-type vanes arranged to pressurize the coolant as to have the coolant flow through the circulating passage. The cooling device has a high cooling efficiency as well as a high operating efficiency of the motor while having a simple construction and a small overall size and a small thickness.
