摘要： A control apparatus for a rotation type magnetic storage device such as a magnetic disc device in which each of record tracks is composed of plural sectors, is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a memory for storing control information of address and the like of the sector to be accessed on a rotating recording medium and comparator means for comparing successively the control information read out from the sector of the rotating recording medium with the control information read out from the memory. In accordance with the output signal from the comparator, the sector of the rotating medium to be accessed is detected. The rotation type magnetic storage device having different sector formats can be controlled by altering correspondingly the control information stored in said memory.

A magnetic image sensor for detecting an intensity distribution of a static magnetic field to be detected and present along a longitudinal direction of the wire on the basis of a detection voltage of the wire when a plurality of such electromagnets arranged along the longitudinal direction of the wire are sequentially excited one after another.

摘要： A vortex flow meter includes a measuring tube in which a fluid is carried, a vortex generator provided in the measuring tube for developing a Karman vortex in the fluid, a magnetic field generator generating a magnetic field across the measuring tube downstream of the vortex generator, a pair of electromotive force measuring electrodes provided downstream of the vortex generator for measuring an electromotive force generated by the Karman vortex passing across the magnetic field, a pair of reference electrodes provided at locations upstream and downstream of the electromotive force measuring electrodes, respectively, for measuring a potential at each location, and a detector circuit electrically connected to the electromotive force measuring electrodes and the reference electrodes for calculating the flow of the fluid from the electromotive force and the potential measured by the reference electrodes. The flow is calculated by subtracting the potential difference of the reference potential measuring electrodes from the electromotive force measured by the electromotive force measuring electrodes. This allows the flow meter to have an increased measuring range, meet a wide range of flow conditions, have a simple construction, and have measurement accuracy.

摘要： When a combination head is on-tracked to an arbitrary cylinder position, a head position controller corrects a head position so as to eliminate an offset amount derived from an offset table. A bias current setting circuit obtains a current set value corresponding to an offset correction amount from a bias current table and supplies the bias current according to the current set value to an MR head. As kinds of offsets, there are a yaw angle offset, a thermal offset, and a core deviation offset.

摘要： A digital control system for controlling firing pulses supplied to thyristors for power conversion to desired phases, wherein data necessary for obtaining desired phase control signals is set in a counter which normally counts clock pulses having a predetermined period and the firing pulses are generated in synchronism with the generation of overflow pulses from the counter. The data setting to the counter, which is repeated at a period shorter than that of the source voltage, is performed by reading out the actual count value of the counter by a digital arithmetic processor circuit, by correcting the read value by the use of the value corresponding to a desired phase and by setting the corrected value again in the counter.

摘要： A bearded needle comprises a needle shank whose tip is shaped into a thin shank portion by tapering down the thickness of the needle shank. The thin shank portion has a conical projection portion at the extremity thereof. The conical projection portion has a hooking tip portion to form a hooking portion at the tip of the needle shank. The hooking portion has a substantially U-shaped bottom portion that hooks and holds a thread, and includes sloping surfaces each inclining toward an outer edge of the hooking tip portion. 摘要： A cooling device includes a heat-radiating device and a centrifugal pump provided in a closed circulation passage for circulating refrigerant. The centrifugal pump contacts and absorbs heat from heat-generating electronic parts by heat exchange of the refrigerant therein to radiate the heat via the heat-radiating device. The centrifugal pump includes a lower casing that comes into contact with the heatgenerating electronic parts, an upper casing disposed to face the lower casing to form a pump chamber, and an impeller sandwiched between the upper casing and the lower casing. The lower casing includes a recessed conical surface facing the impeller, at least one protrusion provided in a center portion of the recessed conical surface and a contact face with which the heat-generating electronic parts come into contact formed directly below the protrusion on an opposite side of the recessed conical surface.
